Fits my Bobcats team to a T. I was an eighth seed and the first round's worst loss, and that was in a thirty team league. What were Portland's record? Indiana's? Remember what Paul did in last year's Hornets Lakers series, without David West?
Except I do not have a "Cousins" in my starting lineup who after one whole season in the league is still pulling teams down in this event.
The closes thing I have, Kantor, is a 15 minute a game backup with insurance in the form of Jason Smith.
Clearly, IP and Roy - and I'm sure others - agree. But it's one thing to argue that Cousins' 14 and 9 doesn't contribute to wins, and another to say that the difference between my fifth best starter Cousins and career back up Gortat is a 20 win, five seed difference. I'm biased but I don't see it.
But to bring the debate back around to Orlando versus Washington. I am still curious to know if you watched either of Portland's playoff wins? Roy is far from "over."
Gortat as a starting C averaged 14 and 11, plays top level big man defense.
Roy averaged 9 a game in the playoffs.
And following the two "big games" if 16 points is considered big, he could only play 8 minutes the next game.
And that is in the spread out playoffs. How is he going to deal with the quicker schedule of the regular season?
