The year before Allen and Garnett got to Boston, Paul Pierce's usage rate was 28.5. The next year, it came down to 23. Its gone down each year (as has Allen and Garnett's) as Rondo's has hovered somewhere around 20ish.

Kobe's usage rate last year was 33. If he plays like that next to Rondo, Rondo will be next to useless as an offensive option. Explain why you think Kobe can and will adapt like Pierce did.

 i think kobe and rondo would be perfect as rondo id more of a pass first point guard.and i would say rondo one of the best assist men in the league and kobe will get his shots. rondos penetration and kick out to open 3 point shooters will be very effective...rondo would also help dalembert get open looks as well...pick and pop type stuff... also rondo kobe and artest defensively will be a nightmare for opponents.
