Some concepts are just too big for people to handle.

PG: Chris Paul - Clearly the best PG in the league right now.
SG: James Harden - Can carry some of the offensive load, can slash and shoot. Very athletic.
SF: Wilson Chandler - Good, well rounded player.
PF: Zach Randolph - Has a huge arsenal of offensive moves.
C: Marc Gasol - Can hold his ground against other players in the post. Good defense and offensive presence. Really stepped up his game during the playoffs.

Bench:
Shane Battier - the defensive player off the bench
JJ Barea - Spark Plug
Derek Fisher - smart, veteran, clutch player
Andray Blatche / Samuel Dalembet - bigman off the bench
Nick Young - Bench scorer

= Very expensive team.

Definitely an interesting team.  How'd you come up with your players, though?  The other teams posted in this thread were all drafted by their GMs in this thread.

I saw this and thought "did I trade CP3 for Tony Parker and Rudy Gay?" (actual offer but declined). I was very confused while I looked at this on my phone. Haha well all cleared up. I wasn't sleep trading
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

That's a pretty team, but it would be darn hard to assemble. CP3=top 10 pick, Z-Bo=top 15 pick, Gasol=2nd round pick, Harden=3rd round pick, Chandler=4th round pick.

The bench players could be assembled, but those starters would be impossible. You couldn't get CP3 and Z-Bo without giving up likely your 2nd and 3rd round picks. So then, you couldn't get Gasol or Harden, and likely you're going to end up trading your 4th round pick as well.

Exactly my thoughts. Rondo's game is basically controlling the set of the offense and finding open guys. Kobe's game, where he commands the ball and creates for himself renders Rajon's game ineffective. Add to the fact that he can't shoot, not only is he ineffective, he's not stretching to floor for Kobe to do his work.

Just an opinion.

I thought I quoted IP opinion about Kobe and Rajon teaming together.

kobes usage rate 33, was first in the league, melos was 5th in league at 29 and rondos was 108th in league at 19.7. rondo was third on his team behind pierce 22 and garnett 20. stars like playing with rondo. kobe and rondo will do work.

Usage rating aside, my point is, like with Kobe and Melo, they both need the ball and work their way to get their effectiveness. The offense will either revolve around Rondo or Kobe.

You can have Rajon run the offense all you want. But Kobe does not run around screens like Ray does, therefore limiting his play. Have Kobe have the ball and let him do what he does best, but Rajon just stands there and does nothing.

I think you're both misunderstanding usage here. Having the top usage rate in the league at 33 is a big deal. It means Kobe Bryant ended a play in a fieldgoal attempt, a turnover, or an assist more often than anyone else in the league. It means he dominated the ball more than anyone else in the NBA. ANd, being 10 pts behind is no small matter. A usage rate of around 20-24 is regular for a guy on a team with multiple stars. LA has multiple stars, all of them more talented scorers than Rondo, and Kobe still led the league in usage.

I think its a definite concern.

I would really like some feed back here.

1) If Lowry is nearly as good as you think he is, he shouldn't be limited to 34 minutes.  More like 36-37, which he handled after the all-star game in Houston;

2) I don't like the Lowry / Sessions back court all that much.  I'd rather roll with Harden and Morrow as my sole backups at the 2.  I think Morrow's shooting will bring you a lot more there than Sessions' ball-handling will;

3) I know you're impressed with your Jerebko pick, but there's no need to give him 10 minutes per game.  Again, Delfino and Williams can hold down the vast majority of minutes at the 3, I think;

4) Bogut can handle more than 32 minutes, and Amare can handle more than 34.

I think you're playing your starters too few minutes.  I can see wanting to give guys rest at times, but overall your team is very young, and mostly healthy outside of Bogut.  There's no need to baby them.
