I love what GC has done with the Knicks. He's made that team into a real contender.

Here's my team:

Starting (it takes) Five:
PG - Deron Williams
SG - Jodie Meeks
SF - Luol Deng
PF - DeJuan Blair
C - Tim Duncan

Knicks Bench:

6. Taj Gibson
7. Wesley Johnson
8. Rony Turiaf
9. Austin Daye
10. Keyon Dooling
11. Reggie Williams
12. Dahntay Jones
13. Jordan Hill
** The draft rights to Jonas Valanciunas

I love the trades you've made and the way you've re-defined your team.  In an ideal world, though, you'd consolidate some of your younger talent (Meeks, Johnson, Daye, etc.) into an impact SG.

GC, with my latest trade gone through, I might have someone you could use at SG.

I agree.  Marvelous job making trades to acquire the pieces that have built a contending team around Jodie Meeks.

Washington Bullets
GM: wdleehi
Coach: Jeff Van Gundy

Starters
PG Raymond Felton
SG Landry Fields
SF Danny Granger
PF Lamarcus Aldridge
C Marcin Gortat

Bench
PG/SG Goran Dragic
PG/SG Delonte West
SG/PG Avery Bradley
SF/SG Shane Battier
SF    Peja Stojakovic
PF/C  Ryan Anderson
PF/C  Antonio McDyess
C     Enes Kanter

McDyess was said to be retiring at the end of last season so what's the deal with that?  If its true then you don't have a lot of front court depth with Kanter basically being your only back up center.  Anderson is a stretch 4 and is way to short to play the center spot.  I like the starting 5 and guards you have off the bench but depth up front is a concern.

San Antonio and McDyess decided to leave the decision until the end of the lockout.

Word is that he will consider returning if the season is shortened considerably but won't be back if there is a full schedule on the books.

San Antonio Spurs:

PG: Russell Westbrook/Luke Ridnour
SG: Arron Affalo/Vince Cater/Keith Bogans
SF: Grant Hill/Al-Farouq Aminu /Kyle Singler
PF: Carlos Boozer/Amir Johnson/Dante Cunningham
C: Chris Kaman/Larry Sanders/Kurt Thomas

We would like some feedback. Strengths? Weaknesses?

Personally we feel we have an excellent PG combo, good talent at the wings, solid starters at the 4/5 and some good young players in reserve there.

I would slide Kurt Thomas ahead of Larry Sanders on the depth chart.

L.Sanders was very poor for the Milwaukee Bucks last year. He has a lot of improvements to make before he is a rotation worthy player.

The Sacramento Dino-Boxer-Bots

C:  Tyson Chandler/Zaza Pachulia/Nazr Mohammed
PF: Paul Millsap/Boris Diaw/Jared Jeffries
SF: Lebron James/Chris Singleton
SG: Wes Matthews/Gary Neal
PG: Chauncey/Brandon Jennings

Really like what Jennings brings to the table as the backup PG as some offensive firepower for the second unit.  Also, I was really pumped that Jeffries slid to us at the end of the draft, a guy as versatile as him will be a great asset throughout the course of a season

S.F.  Wilson Chandler  John Salmons     Ryan Gomes
S.G.  Monta Ellis      Tracy McGrady
P.G.  Tyreeke Evans    Juan Jose Barea  Shaun Livingston

To be honest streght is in depth of this team
and versatility to face different mathups
this team is still a job in the making but letting Deron
Goes every other position is been strenght

Different abilities on different players make this team a nightmare to face

The scoring power is there
The defense is very good, and have lots of players capable
of crossing lines and closing them.

The adition of livingston make us tough to match and to abuse even when the other team is playing bigger guards

Love us or hate us
But Pandas are deep versatile and focused

GO PANDAS!!

Enough grilling of the Thunder. Time to put the screws to one of OKC's trade partners from today.

PG Steve Nash / Beno Udrih
SG Mike Miller / Jason Terry
SF Gerald Wallace / Evan Turner / Gordon Hayward
PF Udonis Haslem / Al Harrington / Anthony Randolph
C  Joakim Noah / JJ Hickson

Any thought to starting Evan Turner?

Yes, I have thought about that (but at SG, I assume?). I wonder if he is ready for prime time. I must admit to not having seen much of Turner last year.

Ya, at SG.

I didn't watch all that much of him either last year. But when I did I noticed he seems to have been developing pretty well, and he also seems to be a pretty solid teammate - really trying to adapt his skillset to the needed role.

I can't remember who, but a fairly regular poster (maybe Nick?) is from Philly, they'd probably the best one to answer.

Well, I may have just completed a deal that makes this discussion a bit moot. Will have to see if there is a confirmation from the other side and the commissioner's office.

So that trade did go through. We're nearing the final product.

Chicago Bulls
PG Steve Nash / Beno Udrih
SG JR Smith / Jason Terry / Mike Miller
SF Gerald Wallace / Travis Outlaw / Gordon Hayward
PF Udonis Haslem / Al Harrington / Anthony Randolph
C  Joakim Noah / Jason Thompson

I'd probably prefer to consolidate Miller and some bench bigs into an enforcer type/upgraded starting PF, but I feel pretty OK about this roster.

I like your guys team a lot. I think you're one of, if not THE favorite. But if you end up losin, I'd have to think you guys'll look back at trading up for Chandler as a mistake.

You consider Westbrook the alpha dog of this team?

If so, do you think he can handle it?  We did see some chinks in the armor with him last year, especially the playoffs.

I'll echo what others have said: start Gibson, try packaging assets for a proven SG. Bench seems a little green, would like some vets there to help steady the rotation.

Fine work, GC.

How about the NJ Nets I think finished product...]

Coach Scott brooks

Pg:Conoly Jr/IRving/ Farmar
Sg:Rip Hamilton/Rudy F
SF:Durant/Cj Miles
PF:Scola/Charlie V/Drew Gooden
C:Perkins/Anthony/Nikola Vucevic

thoughts about this squad?

Good balance and complements in the starting five.

The bench: not crazy about the frontcourt help. CV and Gooden provide little defense. Anthony is solid. Vucevic is a rookie, and likely will have some adjustments to the NBA pace.

I like Miles and Rudy for you. Not sure if you need both Irving and Farmar. Maybe look to make one more deal for another physical PF?

Atlanta Army Ants.

PG - Rajon Rondo / Mario Chalmers (Marcus Thornton)
SG - Marcus Thornton / DeShawn Stevenson
SF - Richard Jefferson / Terrence Williams
PF - Tyrus Thomas / Andray Blatche (DeMarcus Cousins)
C  - DeMarcus Cousins / Andris Biedrins (Andray Blatche)

deep bench: Kelenna Azuibuike (SG), Chris Douglas-Roberts (SG,SF), Trey Thompkins (PF, C)

collection of good outside shooters (with decent to good defense) to stretch the floor for Rondo.

DMC. A headcase but a physical imposer.

And Anday Blatche, my inevitable demise. I like this team.

one question about this team that I have is who takes the last shot?

This guy.
