Here ya go:

Tony Parker
Courtney Lee / Paul George
Rudy Gay / Ron Artest
Zach Randolph / Chuck Hayes
Marc Gasol

Oh. Well, thanks anyways. I guess.

Very Strong Squad. I like how we match up. It be interesting.

Chuck Hayes is a player I love and is a solid addition to the Grizzlies three man 4/5 rotation. His defense and underrated passing are both key. (Memphis is going to need Gasol and Hayes to keep the ball moving.) Paul George is also a great second week pick up, could and should beat Courtney Lee out at some point during the season for the starting spot.

The team's size is intimidating, and Grizz should be solid defensively and plenty aggressive offensively. Though I'd prefer a second three point shooter in the starting line up. Team's will be able to pack the paint, heck will have to. And I'm another GM that hates the Artest pick. At this point he's a low-reward high-risk addition, ring or no, who's not likely to quietly come off the bench. And why add another ball stopper behind Rudy Gay? Memphis may have some chemistry concerns; who's the coach?

Thanks WW.  By second 3 pt shooter, who do you mean in addition to?  We feel that Courtney Lee (40% 3pt last season) and Rudy Gay (39.6% 3pt last season) are both very good 3 point shooters.

We realize the Artest pick is going to be very polarizing.

To expand on that I think the fake Grizzlies might end up being a different sort of defensive team than the real life ones. Their back court isn't the same aggressive type of defenders that Tony Allen/Conley are/were.

I'd have to point to Artest as being a very aggressive defender in our backcourt.  Even if he has declined, I don't think you can find too many defenders in the league more aggressive than him.  Ask Ray Allen.  I think Rudy has the tools to be very effective defensively if we allow him to play aggressively as well.
Artest is at that point where he's starting to lose his athleticism.  I wouldn't put him on quick 2s or PGs anymore, he's much more suited for strong 3s.  I think he and Battier are very similar at guarding large wings, but I definitely wouldn't compare him to a guard like TA.  Not even taking into consideration that Artest is slowing, Tony is the best defender in the league on 1s and 2s.  He's on a completely different level.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I don't think there is any point in starting Calderon ahead G.Hill in the Triangle.

Calderon won't be in a position to create enough added value offensively to make up for what they lose defensively in the switch. Keep things the way they are.

Or fire Phil Jackson and hire a coach who will take advantage of Calderon's gifts (my preferred option).

Ah, I forgot about Phil Jackson. I'd agree with Who, Hill is the better fit in the Triangle.

Shotgun wedding a great improvisational point guard to Phil Jackson has become a CB Draft tradition.

Maybe let Phil just enjoy his retirement?

Nothing recent
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I think Grant Hill as PG on that team is a bad idea.  He's going to struggle on defense against quicker points, and he isn't a prolific enough three point shooter for the triangle, in my opinion.

Ha.  That makes a little more sense.  Yeah, I'd go Hill over Calderon if you're running the triangle.

All I'm going to say about the Mavericks, is we certainly have the deepest front court in the league

C - Dwight Howard/Big Baby
PF - Andrea Bargnani/ Carl Landry
SF - Shawn Marion
SG - OJ Mayo
PG - Darren Collison

Bring it on...

Update Memphis Grizzlies

PG: Derrick Rose
SG: Ray Allen
SF: Tayshaun Prince
PF: Kris Humphries
C:  Roy Hibbert

Bench:  Spencer Hawes, Brandon Knight

I love the Rose, Allen, Prince trio. Excellent work flanking Rose with two wily veteran winners, the game's best shooter and one of the league's top jack-of-all-trades.

But I dislike two-thirds of the front court rotation, Humphries, who's flint, strength, rebounding and crowd pleasing frantic style, mask the fact that's he a lousy fit in both a team's offensive system and its defensive schemes and Spencer Hawes, who's more talented, but similarly undisciplined and also less motivated. Still in this case, I'm willing to forgive the supporting cast a lot.

That Collison-Mayo backcourt is very small - I'm not a fan of Mayo as a starting SG. With them and Bargnani, Howard and Marion will be asked a lot in terms of defense and rebounding... but if someone can handle it, it's them.

Plus, Collison struggled as a post-feeder to Hibbert/Hansbrough last season - Howard's production will be affected. He'll be decent but not great as a screenball partner for Howard and Bargnani.

Aren't Landry and Davis a bit redundant? Two midrange jump-shooting bigs that rebound poorly. I'd try to get a reliable 3 to allow Marion to play at the 4 in a secondary line-up.

I am a big fan of the starters.

I would like to see some more defensive muscle off the bench.

Get Howard into foul trouble, this team becomes incredible soft.

Objectively speaking, I think this team is going to
and and and all over the rest of the CBNBA.

Objectively speaking, of course.

Quick question

Is Memphis any different then GS when they upset Dallas?

I don't mean style.  I mean they had a match up advantage over SA that allowed them to win.

i think big baby and landry are redundant. i think you should trade one. i think bargs playing next to dwight is a good fit because howards shot blocking and rebounding make up for bargs inefficiencies .
