However, Caron had started to do so before he went down with an injury. About a month, maybe a month and a half, of accepting his role and flourishing with the reduced responsibilities.

I agree. Whenever people say "Chandler was the Mavs 2nd best", or "kidd", or Marion, really the Mavs lost their second best player when Butler went down.

And you knew it too. Whenever the Mavs were talking about possibly winning a chip, they'd say they wanted to win it for Caron. They knew what they were missing, even if we didn't.

Jason Terry is still better then Caron.
I think Jason Terry is a comparable player, I think Tyson Chandler is a better one especially on the real life Mavs.

Chandler's defense and rebounding is of paramount importance when you already have an offensive focus like Dirk (who also requires protection from his front court partner)

Guys, just cuz I'm drowning in all these Mehmet Okur trade offers doesn't mean you have to stop sending them! I'll get back to you (eventually)!

Really just looking for a pick or two...

I really do think he still has some value to him, but after we acquired Channing Frye his skillset is a little too redundant.

Also, would consider packaging two of the following

Courtney Lee
Paul George
Ron Artest

For a clear upgrade at the 2 or 3

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
I need a legit starting SG who can defend. Anyone selling one?
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Looks like there are few more folks in the thread now.... for anyone who missed the deals last night, NYK now has Deron Williams as our starting PG.

We're prepared to go into the "season" with Deron and Jameer -- it's not optimal, but that's a lot of talent and a hedge vs. injury.

NY is obviously open to offers for Jameer Nelson -- he of the 6 apg & 40% 3pt shooting. TPs for all offers.

---------

[EDIT] We're also interested in moving up from 12.14 to the start of this round (will move back in the 13th or do 2-for-1 in the 13th).

The South Beach Samurai, (aka Miami Heat), select: Jerryd Bayless.

We have a couple of extra players so I'm taking trade offers from anyone interested ... I am crazy busy here so there may be a delay in my replying. Thanks!

I was under the impression that I had received the 12.8 in a trade, either with ORL or ATL. Trying to find confirmation of that.
