The Bullets take Danny Granger

Best pick of the second round? He's gone from being overrated - how high did he go last draft? - to underrated. He needs to ween himself off the long twos and early threes but he's otherwise a player I like a lot.

He had an off year last season, and I think you nailed why right on the head. Too many long 2's, not enough effort to get to the basket. Hallmarks of a demoralized player..which is probably a result of all those trade rumors.

Love the Granger pick as well.  He is a bit more underrated this year after a little drop in production.  But he is definitely a good talent.

in the '08 draft when Granger i got him with pick 2.28 (in a 30team draft; 58th overall, whereas he just went 33rd overall) so he went from way underrated to overrated to a very good pick.

Now I might get killed for this pick but to run the type of team I enjoy watching I needed a PG with elite speed who gets to the whole and distributes the ball well. I believe this player is going to break out next year.

I thought about him too. Love his defense, and I think he's a superb passer.
