Trade:
Sacramento sends 2.23 and 3.23
Atlanta sends 2.12 and 4.13
Gotta like that one for Sacramento. Moving up 11 slots here (where there are a ton of excellent players left), in return for moving down 14 slots later (when the talent isn't nearly the same) is great for Sacramento. I'm not sure I understand Atlanta's reasoning, though.
Good deal for Sac, but Atlanta picked up a 3rd rounder which looks good in a deal, and they probably marginally increase their quality of player. Probably should've asked for another switch somewhere else too.
They marginally increased their quality of player in the late third / mid-fourth, by giving up a pick where there is elite / near elite talent left on the board. "Picking up a third" isn't a good deal when you're giving up a very good second and a fourth, as well, especially when that 3rd is the second to last pick of the round. Any way you slice it, that's a bad deal for Atlanta, and a very good one for Sacramento.
