Sieg Heil IP!
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Okay, here is the deal for everyone:

I'm re-instituting the Veto. I'm willing to listen to those who are against this. It slows down the game, it puts too much power in my greedy hands, I get it.

If you have a compelling reason why I shouldn't do it, I'll listen. Otherwise, speak now or forever hold your peace.

I trust your judgement and things have been moving along nicely. (Except for the stalled head coach draft?) But I'm inclined to say if there wasn't a veto in place at the start there shouldn't be one instituted now.

Is this motivated by some specific pending deal or just a precautionary move in lieu of some of the recent knee jerk trades?

I trust your judgement as well. No issues from me.

With 6.22 the Utah Jazz select the best backup Center in the NBA. A very tough minded Defensive Center who loves to Block Shots and do the Dirty Work - Brendan Haywood

care to explain for our newer GMs? this is the veto on trades, correct?

its moving forward correct, not going back in time i take it.

per WW's post, do you care to expound a bit onto why you feel compelled to reinstitute it?

I like the veto.

I think it's a good thing and avoids trades that are too one-sided.

Seriously, is there any good reason not to have a veto?  Suspending it was the only rule from the Commish that I've disagreed with.  Reinsituting it is necessary to keep competitive balance.
