First of all I would like to say that after back to back top 4 finishes, I plan on taking home the title this year, even with the "Mod Bias" (Yes it can't be a CB Draft without it being mentioned :)

Also, the Dinobots are assembled up here in Toronto, be very afraid.

Per the #1 overall pick:

LeBron James is the most talented and versatile NBA player I've ever seen. I'd still pick him #1.

If this draft were 80's music, LeBron would be Prince. If this draft were 90's Rap Music, he'd be Tupac. If it were 'cool toys you wish you had when you were a kid', he'd be Power Wheels.

Trust me, I tried to find a way not to take LeBron first overall last season. I tried to trade back to the 3rd so I could take a superstar I had a little more stomach for.

But its all a charade. LeBron should go first, there can be a debate, but in the same way that Michael Jordan can be debated whether or not he's better than Larry or Magic, the answer is pretty clear.

The Boxers are going to be in serious need of a co-GM. PM me if interested.

I have to travel to Puerto Rico for the second week of the draft but will be back for the playoffs the week after. I'm not sure about how well wifi pick up will be there but will be able to text message or email with my co-GM to discuss things.

If this draft were 90's Rap Music, he'd be Tupac.

Are you saying that Tupac choked in the clutch and couldn't reach the top even with a superior supporting cast?  History begs to differ:

Give me Prime Larry or Prime Magic any day.  Career to career, maybe it's MJ.  Absolute peak to absolute peak, I go Larry, Magic, Michael.

All three at their peak were pretty spectacular and pretty even IMHO. But for a career of accomplishments and given who each had as complimentary parts, MJ was the best of the three.

One thing I love pointing out when people discuss Larry not being as good as MJ at their peaks is this at age 33 these were MJs and Larrys stats:

Larry

24.3 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 7.5 APG, 39.3 MPG, 1.4 SPG, 0.8 BPG, 47% FG%, 33% 3PT%, 93% FT%

MJ

29.6 PPG, 5.9 RPG, 4.3 APG, 37.9 MPG, 1.7 SPG, 0.5 BPG, 48% FG%, 37% 3PT%, 83% FT%

The difference. MJ was a genetic physical freak of nature and still very much at his physical peak if on the decline. Bird was coming back from a major surgery to remove bones spurs the year before and fought major back pain all year. He was a warrior and game as hell but past his prime physically. Yet what they did as players at the same age even though MJ was in vastly superior physical condition is almost statistically equal when considering the entire set of stats.

Don't tell me Larry at his prime physical peak was less of a player than anyone. Even in his injury riddled older years he was DOMINANT.

Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news to IP and Edgar, but Nickagenta and I are going to be co-managing a team this year.

I will not be here for the playoffs due to vacation and Nick won't be here for the second week so it makes some sense.

Either way, there hasnt been this kind of collection of talent on one team since

Im really looking forward to working with Nick throughout this draft and I think it will really be a blast.  Go Boxer-Bots!

Dwight Howard > Lebron James
Michael Jackson > Prince (hurts, I love Prince)
Biggie >>> 2 Pac

Wrong, wrong, wrong. And I like Dwight and Biggie better than the other two, but wrong.

Are you on crazy pills? Let's throw out Lebron & Howard (for the moment), how are you going to honestly tell me that Prince is better than Michael Jackson and expect me to "respect" you as a commissioner? I'm ready to tenure my resignation.

Your reign on the top's going to be short like leprechauns if you keep up this blasphemy.

Crazy-Like-A-Fox pills. Prince MADE music, Michael Jackson sang songs.

Michael Jackson is much better than Prince but....his greatness was more 70's and 80's dominant. In the 90's, Prince was much better than Michael.
