Much like the Beatles could do everything the Stones did but the stones couldn't do everything the Beatles did, Prince could do everything that Michael could but Michael couldn't do everything Prince could.

But that's dumbing down the argument to an extreme. Yes, Prince could sing. But anywhere as good as Michael? Not even close.

It's absolutely close and that and dancing are the only categories in which Prince doesn't blow MJ out of the water.

sup y'all

i'm definitely interested in participating this year - ideally with a co-gm.  If anyone is interested let me know.  I desperately need to redeem myself after last years squad of nash/jackson/moon/odom/frye missed the playoffs.  I actually still like that team, but you can't start a guy at the 3 who shot 40% from the field and 30% from 3.

Aren't we talking about two incredible pop artists? How much besides the singing and the dancing is there? Michael's production was much better too.

If we're doing a Michael Jackson and Prince song fantasy draft I'd guess 15 of the top 20 picks are MJ's.

And for as good of a guitar player Prince is, and he is incredible, how frequently does it actually show up in his music?

Let's also not forget that Michael was a ground breaking artist in music video as well.

Is hiring good directors a talent?

I'd be shocked if Michael Jackson didn't have a lot of input into his music videos given what we know of how much creative control he liked to have.

I'm pretty sure with Thriller that MJ saw "American Werewolf in London" and was like "I want John Landis to direct my Thriller video" using similiar concepts as the basis.

That video was definitely driven by MJ and not Landis.

Watched a Documentary on it, Michael wanted werewolves but  Landis executed everything including storyboards. It's like saying the MEdici's were responsible for Da Vinci's work.

That guitar solo blew my mind.

Want to get it double blown? Watch the video again; Prince throws the guitar up, but does it come down?
