Where would you rank Kidd on the list of All-Time Point Guards?

Let me just say I am so happy Jason Kidd finally got his ring. Grew up watchin him play. Could do it all on the court and excited the fans with flare

How does he compare to the all-time greats?

This is my list:
1. Isiah Thomas
2. Oscar Robertson
3. Jason Kidd
4. Walt Frazier
5. Magic Johnsonc
6. Nate Archibald
7. Gary Payton
8. John Stockton

Is Gary Payton on anyone's list? I got a soft spot for the guy :)

definitely top 10. it's hard to rank because the best PGs all brought different skills, yet all were ridiculous. the top 10 has to include: magic, oscar, isiah, stockton, and frazier. kidd is somewhere up there. GP might be considered. tiny archibald, perhaps.

It's hard to believe Nash isn't cracking the top 5's here. How many other point guards have won a couple MVP's? I'd say Jason Kidd is a fringe top 5 point guard talent. Hard to place him exactly, though.

Lot of talk about The Big O as a PG but Basketball reference has him listed as a "guard-forward". Either way I have Cousy ahead of him.

Sorry but anyone listing Isaiah Thomas as the top PG ever immediately loses all credibiility.

Kidd had good all around game in his prime but I just don't see him as someone high on the all time list.  There's quite a few I'd take over him.  Just as an example, Chris Paul isn't on anyone's list so far but I'd take him in his prime over Kidd in his prime anyday.
