Rondo not getting better? For goodness sake, he's gotten better, dramatically better, every year! Last year he was a serious mvp candidate for the early part of the season. He was the best player on a team with four allstars. Why do you think Wade decided to take him out in the Heat-Celtics playoff series? Think about what that says about Rondo. Come on people, this kid has unknown upside. If I were Danny Ainge, I wouldn't trade Rondo for anyone. Not Dwight Howard, not Lebron James, not Blake Griffin. You just don't trade this kid. He needs to shoot better. He needs to be more aggressive more consistently, not just in terms of attacking the basket, but also in terms of pushing the pace, of having a gear in between sleepwalking and racing. He's got a lot of room to grow, but he's already arguably the best pure pg in the league, and if he gets any better, not only will the best pg question be settled for a decade, but they'll have to invent a new vocabulary for this guy. Let's just say that being "rondo'd" will enter the English Language outside Boston. People from iowa to liverpool will talk about being beaten out on a business deal, or losing out in a romantic adventure, or getting embarrassed in a game of chess, etc., as "being rondo'd"!! Lol!
