Oh yeah, didn't see Moranis' pick.

I need a big man but no chance I let this first rounder slip any further.

Wow KG going a lot earlier then I expected.

I had him pegged as a 2nd round pick.

Yeah, that makes sense, his defensive abilities and tenacity kind of defy the 'generational' argument, kind of like Bill Russell's.

I think in this particular format - that's about right for Garnett. An incredible defensive force who doesn't mind deferring to his teammates for scoring.

He's not a logical fit next to Bill Russell, but I still think I would've taken him if he got to me.

Well having not heard back I'm going to go ahead and make my selection.

Joining 2 time MVP Lebron James is 3 time MVP

C - Moses Malone
I also like the pick, but if Roy's modern rules post is the standard I would have gone another way personally. But Moses was one of two I was guessing you'd go with.
I got hurt last year by not grabbing a big name center, and I wasn't going to do that again.  Besides, I like Moses' MVP seasons a lot, especially 78/79 when he grabbed 7.2 offensive rebounds a game (also a 2nd team all defense).  I may still go with his Title season of 82/83 (when he was 1st team all defense as well as MVP).  Moses also wasn't a guy that demanded the ball as much as a lot of the great centers, so I think he would actually be a great fit with Lebron.
KG was the other guy who I thought you should pair with LeBron.

His more versatile offensive game along with LeBron's ability to play the 4 would have been a killer combo even if you grabbed a traditional center late. Though Moses is certainly of equal stature in my mind.

I was debating which of the two you'd take in my head.

KG is a good pick.  One of the best defenders of all time, and in his earlier days an extremely efficient scorer and a ridiculous rebounder.  Automatically strengthens any team.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
