BENCH BIG BABY!!

That's the only way Celtics will beat the Heat is to ditch Glen Davis and play Jeff Green. Wasn't that the reason they got him in the first place to space the floor and add versatility to the lineup.

Defensively Doc needs to also mix up his coverages throw some zone in there, and at times Switch on the Pick&Rolls.  Give them different look make Miami adjust to us. On offense spread them out. Put 4 shooters Pierce, Ray, KG, and Green on the floor and let Rondo operate. Spread out the Miami Heat Defense.

For who, though?

We just don't have any bigs that can pack the paint

Baby also made a couple of great plays.

I'm not pinning the players lethargic energy and playing half the game on their heels on Doc.

The C's are making the Heat look better than they really are. I still believe we are a better team than them, we just haven't flipped the proverbial switch we all love to speak about.

Maybe some players still believe it's March, because they aren't playing like every game matters now.

I've long been a proponent for limiting his minutes. He takes to many bad shots and doesn't command any presence on the court. I 'd love him in a reduced role but can't help but think how much better served we'd be with Tony Allen.

7:10 left we have just erased a five point deficit to tie the game up at 80. We have Garnett,Baby,Green,Pierce and Delonte West on the floor and have just stopped them twice on defensive.

He brings in Ray Allen and Rondo and the Heat go on a 8-0 run to make it 88-80.

When we have a good rhythm you dont interrupt it to go back to the regular rotations. You let it go and maybe we go up then if things start to slip then you sub in to make a adjustment for a mismatch or fatigue. Doc Rivers worst in game substitution coach in the playoffs hands down.

I agree Baby cannot cover Bosh and it was evident since the first quarter dont let it go all game my gosh. Play Jermaine and Green

WAKE UP DOC.

I actually thought Baby was playing pretty well tonight...he was one of few Celtics who actually went the the hoop aggressively.

That being said, he was forcing things way too much...he's clearly not going to get those type of calls towards the end of the game.

No way to defend the toddler here. It´s the playoffs, and you have to bring it.

Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

But he´s not the biggest problem, those run deeper.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Green CANNOT play the 4.  Do you remember what Carlos Boozer did to him in the post?  Chris Bosh would destroy him

Baby has been terrible. Is Leon Powe still available out there.

Baby is making Joel Anthony look like the premier defensive force in the league.

Chalmers made an open 3 to put Miami up 83-80. This is when Baby took a very early baseline drive which he badly missed and then followed it up with a missed lay up. That's when Miami went on an 8-0 run. The missed lay up off the cut was fine, but taking that early shot after the Chalmers 3 is what really triggered the Heat run imho.

Joel Anthony would not.

Jeff Green can be used as a PF when J.Anthony is on the floor. Leave KG or Jermaine out there with him to defend Bosh. Green can also be used as a PF when Miami use small ball lineups.

It is a legitimate option.
