Pierce is going to poop on their defense in game 2. Rondo and Ray will do the same. Miami won game 1 at home like they were supposed to that's all. Hopefully Shaq can come out of his break in case of emergency case.

Pierce is going to probably be suspended for game 2, so it's very good that we have Green

I predicted a Heat win over in the prediction thread so not that surprised, we should bounce back.

I expect Shaq to be back for Game 2 we need him badly to open things up.

I did too...not shocked by this at all. I do think that the Celtics will respond in a big way on Tuesday though.

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Nobody said it would be easy.

9 point difference with just about everything going against the Celts. No reason why they can't win game 2.

Mods, please do the policing.

Thanks

I shouldn't be the only one sticking my neck out here for this sort of stuff.  Somebody uses the "c" word and everybody is on them within seconds.  People use other offensive language and it's tolerated.

Pierce ejected, Rondo didn't play the first half due to foul trouble, give up 40 to Wade, 20+ to James, and 25 to James Jones and only lose by 9? I'll take it. They have to clean up some things in the next game, but if they limit the 3 point shots, move the ball on offense (the Heat trap EVERYONE) i think they can win the next game.

Guys, I know everybody is frustrated with this game but you have to stop with the homosexual slurs.  e.g. "queen", and even "pansy"

I hope to god you are kidding.  How are "queen" and "pansy" homosexual slurs? Its not like "****" or anything.....

Queen is absolutely a homosexual slur, and pansy is borderline.
pansy is not even close.. Queen could be referring to him being womanly, in which case it would be sexist, not homophobic :P

Queen is a homosexual slur.  There is no equivocating on that one.  Pansy is a term which implies that somebody is unmanly and weak, meaning it's not explicitly a homosexual slur, but it's borderline because it often has that kind of connotation.
maybe in your mind. but when a man calls himself king, calling him queen doesnt HAVE to have anything to do with homosexuality. Like I said, it's sexist, not homophobic. Do you just enjoy calling people homophobic for some reason?

Uhm, getting way off topic here.  And Im not sure this line of chat is appreciated for any of our fellow fans who might be so inclined. Let it go?

As bad as this game has been, Boston is still in this series. Tough loss today, but tuesday is another game.

Series is far from over. If the series is fairly officiated (which it wasn't today), then Boston will still win this series.

KG owns Bosh.

Wade won't play this well again.

James Jones played out of his mind.

Refs made terrible calls, and to me - favored MIA.

Tuesday is another game. MIA hasn't won this series, and they won't.

I want to agree with you on all of this, but pessimist could say James won't play this bad again and Ray Allen won't play this good. I really hope you are right though...

On to game 2, this isn“t over
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

That was a wakeup call. Pierce ejection was a joke and Stern should be ashamed of himself. Celts in six. That is all.

Considering that everything that could go wrong in this game actually did go wrong, I'm looking forward to game 2.

Congrats, Heatles, you made it, and with just the refs help!

Celtics are still the better team, they just need to play like it.

Queen is absolutely a homosexual slur, and pansy is borderline.

So QUEEN Elizabeth is a lesbian and since moron named himself KING James calling him QUEEN James is calling him gay? Ok........whatever

do you have any idea what you are talking about?  "queen" is a term often used to refer to gay people, and when you use it in a negative context it is a homosexual slur.  period end of story.

Do YOU have any idea what YOU are talking about?!?! Referring to someone who is the self-proclaimed KING as QUEEN is not homosexual at all.....It is sexist. What is the opposite of King? Oh ya, thats right QUEEN. If you called him Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. James then you might have an argument but since that isn't the case, sorry you are wrong buddy

Paul Pierce will score 40 in Game 2. I guarantee it!!

And no way in hell does James Jones score 25 points again in a game this series. he may not even score 25 points TOTAL for the reminder of the series.

Oh & Doc will get a fine after he goes off on the refs in the press conference.

Peace everyone, go Celtics!!!
Let's Go Celtics!!
