  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
For what it's worth, I've never heard of the Eagle Tribune

Well....now you have. And I think that's why its clear the only winner here is Bill Burt.

well according to doc, the doctors said they saw improvement in shaq and theyre going to test him again tomorrow on court...honestly im not going to take much of anything until we hear definitely shaq is out for the playoffs. none of us really know shaqs injuries, and I see no reason why the team doctors would lie.

Everyone likes to play doctor. but how many times have we been wrong about injuries this year?? the main one being JO who almost EVERYONE said was done...and here he is our there starting and giving us solid defense

Here's the latest from ESPN.com:

I look to see the Big Fella in NY, at least lol....You all now have me looking at Danny's alleged word play ;D.

But seriously I trust Danny and Doc and I believe we'll see him on Sunday. To try to read any more into the situation gives me a headache.

my gut says shaq is done and dont expect him back.  the way doc/danny keep saying he will be back is reminiscent of kg a couple yrs ago.  next week, a couple weeks, this weekend, etc....blah blah blah :'(

Except when the playoffs started, KG was written off for good. Shaq hasn't been. I don't think I ever heard an actual report saying "KG might come back". Or at least, it never came until the 2nd round, when it was "might play Game 1 of ECF" if we got that far, which we of course didn't. I'm not even sure if there was an official article or not.

In comparison, I think it seems like a definite at this point that Shaq would play in Game 1 of the 2nd round if he's a possible for Game 4.

I've been saying shaq was done since my first posts here, HE IS DONE. The celts have to try to win without him, if he makes it onto the court he will be a shadow of himself.  It was too much to ask for a 39 year old with his recent history of injuries to expect much from him.

I'd be very satisfied if he is available next Friday should we have to play a 5th game.

Heck, I'd be happy if he is available at any point during our march to 18. The sooner the better, but I don't want to rush him back and risk another injury/setback.

But JO, Krstic and Murphy, along with the rest of the team and staff better not sit around and wait for him. These guys need to step up as if he isn't returning.

If he does, GREAT!

If 6 years ago one person stop you by the street and told you.   Hey man celtics roster 6 years from now will be JO  KG. Pierce Allen and a champion young center. Thar rookie delonte. A 5th pick. Kristic and one pf will be your bench and probably Shaq will be waiving towels. You probably send that poor guy to the asylum

Ha, good one. Tp for the wit.  :)

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
