So sad for Dirk.  :(

Just happens to run into D-Whistle in '06. D-Whistle and LeTravel in '11.

well, if Dirk played with a little more toughness he might have already had a few rings

Dirk is a great player. Dirk is an incredibly soft player. Don't think there is a tough bone in the guy's body.

i'm disgusted. what is rick carlisle doing? he is handing the Heat trophy using this extra-small lineup.

Small, big, doesn't matter. The Heat are winning this thing in 5 games max.

ok nostradamus

Maybe. I would say the Mavs style of play has more to do with that than Dirk alone.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
I really hate the Heat.

I hate them so much that I am considering giving up on the NBA. What is the sense? This team is stacked and is going to dominate, unless the Knicks get Chris Paul.

This is the weakest team they'll have - the Faux 4 will get more cohesive and they'll get better role players. Them probably winning in year 1 makes me nauseous.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Lebron or Wade might tear their ACL within the next 5 minutes.. you never know. I feel the same way though.

This is almost bad enough to make me hope that Dwight goes to the lakers just to stop the heat. Almost.

By the way, if the Mavs lose by 4 or less there's a legitimate case of getting robbed by the refs. Refs blew an obvious offensive interference call on a Wade putback and Dirk clearly should've gotten free throws on that drive earlier in the quarter.

I now understand why the heat celebrated so much after they beat the celtics. They knew that no one else could give them a real fight.
