The C's were the league's only hope.  :(

I truly believe this. Considering the circumstances - Series at 2-1, game 3 doesn't go to overtime if Rondo's healthy. Series at 2-2, game 4 probably doesn't get choked away if Rondo's healthy (not that Rondo would have stopped a collapse, but a healthy Rondo = more production earlier in the game = more margin for error at the end). Ugh.

There needs to be a lockout after this year, and there needs to be a hard cap so that teams like Miami won't form and Miami can't sign guys like, say, Steve Nash for the MLE for the next decade.

The NFL has the best system with the NHL not far behind. How the NFL ever got its players to go along with the system it has amazes me.

At least LA didn't just win.

This might be heresy but I almost would rather have seen LA win than Miami.

What Miami is doing also puts to rest that the NBA is a team game. While they are a team on defense, on offense, it is pretty much three guys. Team, shmeam. And who needs a point guard to win the championship? I am so bitter. I gotta get away from it all.

Are you watching the game?

Miami got 12 points from Chalmers and 26 points from the bench overall. It wasn't just a Big 3 night.

Yes, tonight they got help from the bench. Normally they do not. They are NOT a team. I hate them. I hate Lebron James, I hate what the NBA has become. I just find it hard to believe that any Celtics fan would not hate this team and how it was assembled.

I'm with you on this. Heat should not win a championship. Hopefully Dallas can get game 2. Rooting for Dallas all the way. Heatles should not be awarded for their stunt this summer. I'm sure Stern loves it making a team game  into an individual star oriented one has been Stern's motto.

Dreadful either way. The only thing this does is make me turn the TV off and lose interest in the league. It will be interesting to see the ratings. My guess is that there are a lot of closen Lebron fans throughout the country.

watching the heat play is pretty boring IMO...you know exactly what theyre gonna do....you have 2 good iso players and they just go back and forth playing 1 on 1...wade goes 1 on 1, then lebron goes 1 on 1! and then the rediculous foul calls...

Same here.  I hate LA, but I have a healthy respect for them because they don't walk around like they are going to be the next 60's Celtics like Miami does.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
I wonder if we'll see Corey Brewer next game for defensive purposes? DeShawn Stevenson is good in spurts, but I really Dallas she make use of the fact that they have another athletic wing defender.

Id rather have Miami win and LeBron than LA and have then tie us in rings and Kobe tie Jordan.

Jason Terry set to let his team down again, he at least went through this before yet he is choking like it's his first time. People saying it was Mia D were not watching the game, pretty much every shot Terry or Barea missed were either easy or wide open. If JJ can't hit those easy baskets, what use is he?
