When the Heat advanced to the NBA Finals it exposed how weak the teams in the east are...besides the Celtics there isn't one team that could give them a competitive series.

What makes it even worst usually in the playoffs you need a few decent bigs and a good bench...they had neither.Haslem gave them a decent big man in a few games in the Bulls series only. There bench had spot moments by Miller,Chalmers, and James Jones. All three had their moment in different series but none were consistently helping the Heat.Jones disappeared after the Celtics series.

4 of the 5 games in the ECF were all basically decided in the 4th quarter.

I say Boston gave the Heat the most trouble, then Chicago.

The Heat did not have a "cake walk" into the Finals.

I said the Celtics gave them some competition...however not one team pushed them to 7.They basically got out of the east fairly easy. They only played 15games between three opponents. When was the last time that happened?Compared to yrs.passed in the east the amount of games teams had to play, this was a "cake walk"for the Heat.

These boos for the Mavs players are so half-assed. The fans seem totally unsure what to do. Pretty funny

Edit: Man the Heat player intros are even worse... Especially after being so used to the crowd getting pumped with the "Captain aaaaand the TRUTH" stuff.. This game wasn't even sold out. The Heat organization should be embarrassed

Yup.  I'm a sucker for that sort of thing.

Great memories.  Even if some of them were bitter ones.
Yup

My mom has never watched an entire Celtics game in her life, probably can't even tell you who "The Truth" is ...but for some reason has decided she loves Lebron James and is watching all the games to cheer for him.

...:(

I have to agree with JVG early. Why is Marion on Wade and Stevenson on LeBron? Odd move by Carlisle early.

Well we're off to a great start.  Dirk initiates 0 contact and gets called for a foul.

It's only the beginning...Wade and LeBron will shoot lots of FTs.

This morning I didn't care who won.  The minute I started watching I started hating the Heat and started rooting for the Mavs.
