What's classy about a Canadian who trashes the laws of and the country who made him wealthy beyond imagination?

And speaking of ignorance, the US didn't "make" Nash wealthy. Nash made himself wealthy by being an elite basketball player. Additionally, the amount of charity work he does and the amount of dollars he's generated for the teams he's played on throughout, would show that he's given plenty to the country that "he trashes the laws of."

1. Rondo absolutely cares

2. I will make a bold prediction that Rondo will be the assist leader at season's end, thanks to Shaq getting back on the floor in the last few games leading up to the playoffs (easy assists)

3. Can't trash Steve Nash, the guy has had an incredible career

Rondo cares very much

It is convenient to suggest he doesn't and only cares about #18. He does, we have watched all season the man holding out the ball even on a break by himself. Which is all understandable because assists are Rondo's proof in his passing pudding.

I hope Rondo gets the  record so the myth about him being the 'best point guard because he finds his shooters' lives on.

My apology, ACF.  I stand corrected.  The messiah is in a class all by himself there.

Yeah..Los Nash chose the NBA in spite of the fact that he would be making $10,000,000+ per season if he'd have chosen to play in the vaunted Canadian Basketball Association.

My mistake.

A quote he made is so underrated
When they were on their recent 5 game losing streak after they lost to the Blazers, he said something like

"The thing is, even if we lose the rest of the games of the season, we'll still be in the playoffs"

Like really Lebron? Hahaha

Of course he cares.  There were times when it was clear he was passing up the shot to get the assist, especially when he was right at the basket for an easy shot.

This is based on the assumption that he was doing it to pad his assist totals, not to get/keep his teammates involved and/or reward them for making their run upcourt. How many quotes were there this year from Doc or the other players about Rondo trying to pad his assist totals?

If he cared Nash would not be even close to him right now.

These stinker games he has had a rash of recently.  Plus his holding the ball to long and not making the same passes he made earlier this year and through his career show me he doesn't care.

I'm still in awe that Rondo is still averaging 11.5 assists per game! :o

As critical as Rivers has been of Rondo in the past...And as much as Rivers has talked about Rondo lately...We sure would have heard if there was an inkling of Rondo being selfish in any way.

I really don't see any reason for people to bash Nash.  I think it's amazing, that he's still putting up the assist numbers he is at this point in his career, and even more incredible that he's doing it this year, (after everyone said his assists would fall off the map without stat to pass to).

I still think he's the best passer in the game. Doesn't play a lick of defense, so I'd never want him on my team, but he's on top of the passing game.
