arroyo is so awful. Danny will go nowhere near Arroyo.

I think backup PG is the least of our worries, at the moment. Rondo is young and can take the minutes, and we still have DWest (if he´s healthy).

A big man you can count on come playoff time is by far our biggest need right now.

Brewer is a nice addition because he would make a good 4th/5th wing, and could develop into a rotation player for the post-big 3 era.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

He's fine for third string.

I disagree, Arroyo is just awful.

I'm pretty sure Ainge showed interest in Arroyo during the offseason a few years back.

I think he's good for a 3rd string here, but I don't know if he's worth the chemistry disruption... and by that I mean is that he's not the easiest of guys to get along with. He might have matured though and haven't heard much of it in the recent years, but still a concern.

Celtics seem to be "interested" in every bought out player...but it seems no one is "interested" in actually signing here. I hope Danny knew what the hell he was doing when he got rid of all those roster spots.

Corey Brewer is a wing that cannot score, however he is a solid defender. I will say this, I think that if he could produce anywhere in the NBA it is Boston. Just the defensive system we have and the veteran presence is a far cry from Minnesota. Should he be our first option? no but he could be an okay 12th man.

I really don't see all that much of a difference between him and Tony Allen, cept tony is a bit bulkier and Brewer is taller. That's a pretty big plus in my book to gain that kind of defender again.
I bleed Green

would we have a better chance to land Brewer if we hadn't traded for Green?

Would we have a better chance to land Bibby if we'd let Rondo leave instead of signing him to an extension?

I thought Powe was interested.
And I'd be happy if the Cs sign him (second best big man FA).

I wouldn't mind Brewer here as a backup SG who can play situational minutes.

I'd prefer Murphy to Powe, but we'll see how it plays out.

I'll take Green all day long. A longer big who can guard the perimeter.

That said...I hope Murphy has a change of heart. He could log some serious minutes with the Celts.

Rondo's a starter and one of the best PGs in the league...not really sure why you are equating the two..

Brewer would be a great pick up, and would be a nice SG off the bench.  He and Boston are made for each other.

Agreed.  But if the Cs can't get Murphy, I think Powe is the next best bet.
