Not sure why Brewer would come here to play 5-7 minutes a game.

I like Brewer a lot.  I'd love to have him here.

If the Mavs are interested, though, I worry.  They can give the most money, by far.

Money-wise the Mavs are the most attractive team but he won't really fit there because he can't shoot (or not good/consistently enough). I think Boston and San Antonio are his most likely destinations in terms of playing time and contending teams.

But he won't learn to shoot in Boston or San Antonio.

Actually the fact that Dallas already has so many shooters makes him a good fit there. They could really use another wing defensive stopper. Ditto for the Spurs.

This would be great.  I've been wanting to get Brewer for months!

They won't use 3 spots for bigs, so it's irrelevant to this discussion on acquiring Brewer that we need bigs or not.

We'll sign 1 center at most 2 and that's pushing it.

Yeah but the fact that they have already enough shooters means they won't play him much except in very limited situations/stretches. And Dallas already has Stevenson as good defenser who can also shoot so I really think he doesn't make a lot of sense in Dallas if we're talking about playing time only.

I agree. Doesn't make much sense.

Rondo on the break with Green and Brewer on wings would be fun 2nd quarter fastbreak "Green Team" to watch!

Eight teams to choose from in either conference...not bad for him. ;)

I really can't understand why NY would get rid of him.  They need defenders???
I don't know how much time he'd get here but I'd love to have him on team for this year and the future.  Rondo, Green and Brewer is a nice group for the post big 3 era.
We have 3 spots, 1 big, 1 wing and the best available player.  Brewer is the wing, he'd take any wafer minutes that would be available (and his spot on roster next year)
