  • Let's Go Celtics!
That'd be great if we could trade Green back.

Green's defense is nowhere near the level of Brewer's. this would give us more flexibility with matchups.

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

I like Brewer a lot.  I'd love to have him here.

If the Mavs are interested, though, I worry.  They can give the most money, by far.

Yeah, but who would want to live in Dallas? Just look at the lovely weather we've had the last few months...

Incredible. What a faux pas by New York.

Hopefully Ainge can convince him to sign with Boston.

The problem is that, once again, there are teams that are able to lure him with a larger role and more money.

Suddenly the Perkins/Green trade looks less interesting.

Exactly, wouldn't that make the trade feel like more of a waste?

David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Money-wise the Mavs are the most attractive team but he won't really fit there because he can't shoot (or not good/consistently enough). I think Boston and San Antonio are his most likely destinations in terms of playing time and contending teams.

Can't say I'm opposed to adding him - but, where is he getting his minutes? Can't see him cracking the rotation

Oof. And conceivably more minutes, right? Maybe not?

Having Brewer to defend on Kobe, Wade and so on for stretches would be a big plus and a good replacement for TA in a way.

No, because Green is a future piece as well.
