Espn now reports Bibby and Murphy likely to go to Miami (who are going to release Arroyo and Maglorie)

Yup, just read this as well... This would be a disaster for us. But then again, you can't trust "sources".

Wow -- if this is true, Danny struck out.

Chris Johnson may have to be signed to another 10 day or even longer contract. Miami's frontcourt defense will be the worst in the league if they sign Murphy.

It makes a lot more sense that Murphy goes to Miami. It's a shame because he can help them quite a bit (the reason it makes sense he signs there, his role in the Celtics would be much minor).

If Arroyo and Magloire are to be released, I'd be fine with picking both of them up.

Way to go Danny!!! You gave away erden for rosters spot and now can't even fill them!! Chris Johnson is all we get out of this mess? pathetic. Great work Danny Ainge. we know will have 12 players...3 of which can't stay healthy for more than 2 games at a time.

Good point, although I think Magloire is useless and Arroyo is next to useless.

Magloire is done but I wouldn't mind having Arroyo on this team. Are there any productive bigs that are rumored to be bought out?

Let's not panic just yet... As recently as this morning, Murphy was a lock to join to the C's. So nothing is set in stone at this point.

he'd be a terrific addition, and Danny's always been interested... If we could get him and T.Murph somehow, I'd feel a lot better.

Let Miami have Bibby and his chucker ways and his dislike for Boston. It will make beating them even sweeter.

Arroyo, I would take, if for nothing but any intel he can give us on the Heat and his burn to beat them for dumping him. I think he'd fill in well in a situation where not many minutes are expected of him. His stats weren't that bad down there. http://basketball.realgm.com/player/Carlos_Arroyo/Summary/676

I'd rather give Sean Williams a try than Magloire.

Brewer, Murphy and Arroyo I'd be thrilled about.

you said it, no time time to panic. this 'source' has no connection to miami and everything i have read so far has him coming here. i know danny is a gambler, but i don't buy he cleared out so many roster spots for nada.
