Considering a good start by Lester, point to issues with Terry's lineup. He needs Elsbury back at leadoff.  Dustin owns 2 spot and just figure out the rest. Either that or try another shortstop to improve this team.

Maybe the problem is that they haven't traded Kendrick Perkins?

This team is... depressing. There's no other word to describe this team. Question for the "it's still early" folks. Is it still early or is 2-10 a big enough hole? There needs to be a change. I feel it may happen in the next couple of weeks and rightfully so.

It's just horrendous baseball.

How long until Varitek is starting every day?

Salty sucks.

This team is anemic in the pitching department. Wow. Everyone is scoring at will on this rotation. Dump Dice-K, put Wakefield back in the rotation, and sign Pedro. They can't possibly do any worse than the current group.

Jed has been ripping the ball lately and Tito continues to go with a struggling Scutaro. It's really mind boggling. You can't fire 25 players, but you can fire the manager.

Crawford will be fine eventually. It's not like he's 35 entering the twilight of his career. I have all the faith in them, but by the time they turn it around it might be too late. 2-10

Just checking the box score at work and Daisuke is having a good day so far: 1 hit, 1 walk and 0 runs through 6 innings.

This is why i was calling for Lowrie to start over Scutaro all off season. I don't even need to say he obviously won't keep up the tear he is on, but his line so far this year is .533/.563/.800, giving him a cool OPS of 1.363. He is continuing to show above average power, and he always has had a great eye. He isn't great defensively, but his bat more than makes up for it.

That double was big for Crawford, predicting that's the beginning of him going on a tear.

I still hate watching Dice-K.
