Bradley has been recalled.

unfortunately Bradley doesn't help us this year, AND he's not a small forward.

I'm sure the first, second, third, etc. time it has happened he has gotten an opinion from several doctors. If none of them suggested he retire, I doubt they will now. From what I glanced over in this thread, he is susceptible to similar injuries, but not any more severe. If these injuries don't have long-term ramifications and just require healing, then why retire?

If he is at risk of becoming paralyzed from one of these injuries, then he should hang it up. No amount of money or pride is worth that risk, especially a person who has already made a good chunk of money in his NBA career.

This all makes me think of Rodney Rogers (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2010/columns/story?columnist=clemmons_anna_katherine&page=rogers-100614 - for anyone that hasn't seen it).

No, but he'll play some backup 2 and Wafer will play the 3 when we go primarily to our bench. It beats playing Allen & Pierce 40 mpg.

I agree with Po's assessment, having seen this play out at the college level. Unfortunately, I suspect Daniels' career is over.

As for his replacement, we cannot go forward with a rookie - Harangody - who is subpar defensively. I suspect that Ainge has already begun examining the buyout options and the low-level trade options. Quinton Ross is someone whose lack of offense we could hide with our other shooters.

What about RIP Hamilton , if DET buys him out?

Unfortunately, I suspect Daniels' career is over.

Danny and the team Doc. mentioned that he was back to full fuctions. It didn't look good..but I doubt its career ending.

Frequently, susceptibility to these injuries, which has been established already, comes from a dangerous narrowing of the spinal column. It's ended careers of many younger men in this game than Daniels. There's certainly support for Po's conclusion.

I'm not a huge fan of Rip Hamilton's defense, and I have no interest whatsoever in his contract, but if he's bought out, he'd certainly have to be on your list if you're Ainge.

Well, in an ideal world you're correct. However, we're far removed from having a good sized wing come in and man the position. We have to make do with what we have, even if it means Wafer or Luke at the 3 and Bradley at the 2.

If the team has to depend on Luke Harangody for any important minutes at the small forward position, then the team is going to be in big trouble. If Marquis cannot come back, I really think Danny is going go have to find someone. We have to be realistic, however, and realize there is not going to be much available at this point. Unless, of course, they could trade Nate for a decent, backup small forward.

here we go with the Trade Nate talk..
other than that comment, I agree with what else you said,
but do not believe it has to come via trade. We have a free
roster spot now, it is wasted on Bradley, let's pick up someone
who can contribute. We do not want Luke or Bradley anywhere near
a basketball in the playoffs.

Daniels is an important player for Doc and the team are guards Delonte and Wafer.
We need a replacement for Pierce, Pierce and Allen can not play 40 minutes.
I still think Sheed is necessary, he can play as a forward.
Rip is another possibility, but he is a shooting guard, and we have to Delonte.

Doc is going to play Wafer/Ray at SF more now. Harangody won't see time at the 3. He's played all of his minutes at the 4 this season.
