The Memphis Grizzlies:

PG: Jose Calderon
Wings: Luol Deng, Rudy Gay
PF: Brandon Bass
C: Marc Gasol

Bench: Javale McGee, Courtney Lee, Eric Bledsoe.

I really like this team.  I wasn't sure about the Gasol / McGee combo at first, but I think the BRandon Bass pickup really gave your team some balance.  I'm not super-high on Calderon anymore, but I do think he'll be able to get a lot of your guys easy looks.

I'm not that high on Calderon, which is why I was happy with the Bledsoe pick. I think he takes some pressure off Calderon and could be a solid starting PG as the rest of this team hits it's pride.

Calderon played at his best when there was a change of pace guard infront/behind him. Bledsoe is def that, and hopefully supplants Calderon in a year or two.

But right now you've gotta be wary of his nearly 3:2 assist/To ratio.

I wrote Pride instead of Prime, I'm awesome.

Hey.  Can I get some updated opinions on my team after the most recent rounds?

Devin Harris
Joe Johnson
Trevor Ariza
Al Horford
Joel Przybilla

Ben Gordon
Corey Brewer
Ryan Anderson

When healthy, Przybilla will be my starting 5, and Horford will move to the 4.  With that lineup, I have above average defenders at every position.  Brewer can do many of the same things Ariza can do, allowing me to keep at least one disruptive defender on the court at all times.

I like the team a lot - though have some small concerns about Harris & Johnsons working together b/c of their usage. I think you need to load up on bigs almost no matter what, your minutes at 2 & 3 should be completely occupied , and obviously Pryzbila has some serious concerns.

Ryan Anderson was a great pick for you, btw. Just a perfect fit for this team.

PG:Deron
SG: Ronnie Brewer
SF:Josh Smith/Artest
PF: Rashard/Hickson
C: Collison/Shaq

I plan on picking up a SG this round that can shoot to balance out the loss of Afflalo, but otherwise I think I am doing pretty solid,
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

I would start Artest ahead of R.Brewer at the two.

Artest will allow your team to play more effectively offensively than Brewer would.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
PG: Kyle Lowry/Jerryd Bayless
SG: Landry Fields/Reggie Williams
SF: Paul Pierce/Reggie Williams
PF: Serge Ibaka/Drew Gooden/Tyler Hansborough
C: Andrew Bogut/Drew Gooden

Thoughts behind the Psycho-T pick:

I like him for my team because he's basically the white version of Big Baby. We have our first two centers, Andrew Bogut and Serge Ibaka, pretty set in stone.

Tyler Hansbrough fits in because he can score, he hustles as much as any guy in the league, and he can defend well as long as he doesn't have too much of a size discrepancy. A good 4th big for me, that will provide an urgency (borderline frantic) that Drew Gooden lacks. Basically, he's a white big baby. He's a little undersized, he's got short arms, but he's strong, he's got a jumper, and he's going to bring the energy off the bench.

After a couple trades, the Suns' roster is still a work in progress:

PG: Nash/Mayo
SG: Afflalo/Mayo
SF: Casspi/Aminu
PF: Jamison/McDyess/Wallace
C: Bargnani/Haslem/Wallace

Bench bigs are fairly interchangeable. Improved defense on the wings. Still could use some tinkering to the starting frontcourt, though.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
PG: Holiday/T Evans/TBD
SG: T Evans/T Allen/E Turner
SF: M Williams/E Turner/T Allen
PF: Odom/Ed Davis
C: Varejao/K Brown

Really liking the rebounding and defense this team provides, as well as all the different lineups we could put together.  A very versatile team that could blossom into a contender in a year or two.

You absolutely cannot get away with starting Antawn Jamison alongside Andrea Bargnani. Their combined defensive flaws will destroy your team. And Nash. And a finesse SF. Oh my.

To many SGs ahead of Turner.  He needs minutes.

When Turner develops, can he be a starting SF?  Starting SG, no problem, but SF?

I wonder if you might put Lewis at SF (where he seems to be playing in DC these days), Smith at the PF, and Hickson as your starting C.

I think you have some different looks you can throw out, depending on your matchups. A combo guard would definitely help.

Wallace seems like an odd fit.

Do any of the starters go inside the three point line?  I see a good 4 corners offense.

Good fit around Nash.

Is there enough half court offense?

Does Smith shoot well enough from mid range to use in a pick and roll?
