To the best of my knowledge ball "boys" are barely boys, right?  I mean I'm curious. DId he cry? Do we need to have him on Oprah or something? The kid has a dream job and somehow people are sorry for him because when he bothered a player he was emphatically told no.  Are we sure it was a ball boy or was it a ball wimp? Maybe a ball baby?  get over it.  And where are the Lakers like "Hey kid. Why the hell were you trying to get his autograph?" I hope if a Celtic ball boy is dumb enough to try this stunt they fire him.

FYI for those who don't collect sports autographs; KG throughout his career has been one of the toughest signers in the game.  He doesn't even sign for the home fans.  Some stars such as Stat, D Rose, Durant, Westbrook etc even sign on the road.  But KG doesn't sign for anyone; really a non-story here.

TP. I dunno if I'd want our Celtics ball boy necessarily fired, but assuming this Lakers ball boy is an actual Laker fan, I'd lol @ the idea that he'd actually ask for a photograph from a Celtics player.

This isn't extreme in any way whatsoever.

Knowing Laker fans, the kid may have included an insult in his request.  I see nothing wrong with a Celtic not wanting anything to do with Faker fans.

Since when do opponents at arenas have to sign autographs for opposing fans, let alone ball boys of your most hated rival? I know that Laker fans think it's a prick move but at least he wasn't in the same situation as Kobe was in Colorado...

My thoughts exactly. When has KG ever done anything off the court to offend anyone? Kobe on the other hand.....

It's kinda like being an intern on Obama's staff and then Rush Limbaugh walks by and you ask for his autograph. Ball boys are old enough to know better.

Id hope our ball boys would hide all the balls from the lakers or sabotage their balls during shoot around. Screw the lakers

If they did that first I'd be ok with asking for their autographs afterwards.

Notice what I am not saying. I'm not saying fire the kid for asking for Durant or Tim Duncan's autograph. But don't be dumb enough to ask for Kobe's or Rick Pitino's if he walks by either.

In the mean time the Red Sox bat boys probably never needed to be told not to ask for George Steinbrener's autograph and the Pats ball boys probably don't ask for Antonio Cromartie's.  Perhaps someone well known should tweet about the situation

Like most here, I think it's pretty awesome. Would anybody really expect anything different from KG? It seems like everyone is trying to ruin KG's image in the last year for things he has done his entire career (Noah, Charlie V, and now this). Seriously, guys, chill out - KG cares about Celtics basketball only and that should make all of us very happy.

I don't blame him. Alot of those who ask for autographs turn around and sell them on ebay. This is a Lakers ballboy I have a feeling alot of these ballboys could make quite a sum with autographs.

Posting a meaningless tweet that tries to portray a Celtic player in bad light after we just beat the Lakers in their own arena... that's really sad.

Especially if you stick up for LBJ...the same guy who wears a "Check out my $tats" t-shirt and who throws fries at the waiter's face because they were not warm enough...yea, that is just oozing "class".

I fail to understand why people try to bring "class" in a basketball game.
