Reminiscent of last season where they did not look ready for the start of the season. When the Pats showed blitz, SEA/Lock just checked out and made a short play. Lock played well. And the Pats defense just kept doing the same thing. The Pats/Maye just seemed to not know what to do vs blitzes. Never seemed to check into the right play.
My main concern was the OL. It wasn't that good. OK in passing game (Maye was still sacked 3 times) but no run game. If you take out Maye's scrambles, they averaged less than 2.6 yards/carry. There was nothing there, ever. I know that SEA is a good defense. But that did not look good.
And yes, once AJ Brown was out, the receivers looked weak. Mack Hollins was the best receiver. Did Kyle Williams even play? I think he returned a couple of kicks, but if he played receiver, I missed it. Dobbs 0 catches on 3 targets, and just didn't look connected at all. Just kind or running around.
