Giving up Nate and Bradley will leave us kind of empty at the point though, no? Daniels and Pierce as backups?
I like the idea of Randolph as another threat downlow, especially with KG not really playing in the paint on offense, but to me resting Rondo's legs is a bit more important.
Especially in the playoffs if we play Miami and Daniels/Pierce are too busy guarding lechoke to give relief at the point.
Robinson has, frankly, been awful, and Bradley's in the D league and seems a long ways away from contributing, especially as a point guard. West is coming back, though, to be primary PG backup. There's probably some other guard that could be plucked off the scrap heap to really give the c's another guard near the level of what Robinson has been that would easily make it worth it.
Blake Ahearn, Antonio daniels, oliver lafayette, Aaron Miles, Mario West, Scottie REynolds, Curtis Stinson, Kyle weaver, Cedric Jackson, walker russell, jamar smith...I'd give some of them a chance with Delonte/Marquis in the backcourt if it meant adding Randolph up front.
