I'd say you have to consider the circumstance. At this moment in time, no, I would not do that trade. We do not need a PF currently, and do need a PG. We are trying to win a championship, not rebuild.
Griffin looks like he is going to be an elite player, but its too early to tell. He rebounds and scores extremely well (and is on SC nightly for his highlight dunks), but he doesn't do much else. I am not saying he can't, but who knows. ESPN really seems to have influenced people to think that scoring a lot of points is the only aspect of basketball. It is not.
Rondo, for all his flaws, is perfect for this team. He has also proven that he can do all the other "little" things that make an elite player. Scoring is an issue (possibly), but we'll never know until the big 3 retire. This team is better served with Rondo distributing the ball, not scoring, a la Rose.
