C's are somewhere else right now, not on the court.

KG's injury has been a shock. This is probably gonna be a 20 point loss, but the worst has to come..
The Celtic in me.

Dern, i hope KG is only a mild sprain or something...calf cramp.....1 or 2 weeks max...PLEEEAAASSSEEE...!!!

Heck, I'll take 6 weeks, like the JO knee injury.  I just don't want this season to be scuttled.
This team can easily weather a short or medium term (2-3 months) injury to KG.

yes...but not without west, rondo, perk and erden..plus a JO that gives them NOTHING. playing for the 4 seed....
Rajon Rondo will be back soon enough.

The Celtics can play with a big man rotation of Shaq, JO, BBD and Erden. Harangody with spot minutes. That is still a team capable of playing at 50 win pace.

Perk could be back sometime in the next month or so to help out too.

---------------------------------------------------

Anyway, the playoff seeding doesn't matter much. A team with this much experience and talent will have no problems winning playoff series' on the road.

A fourth seed will do the Celtics fine. I wouldn't be at all concerned about that.

  • Rondo = Good
14 turnovers so far, but if kg is out for a long duration, none of this really matters

sad but true.

i hate to be all "the-sky-is-falling" here, but if KG has effed up his leg and he'll be out for a long time and / or significantly hobbled when he gets back, it's pretty much curtains for title aspirations...unless Rondo has developed an unguardable jumpshot while he's been out with that ankle injury.

if by "weather" you mean drop down to the 3rd or 4th seed, then yes, we can certainly "weather" it.  i really believe our ability to win a title this year depends on getting homecourt, though.

i would be feeling ok if KG was out months if we had everyone else healthy...face it...we have 1 productive big without him
Curious, do you mean BBD or Shaq?

Oh well, let's try and win this one for KG..

Why bother? If KG's anything less than 99.99%, Boston has no title shot. Even before he got hurt, this game was a clunker; starters came out slow -- AGAIN, and no one can hang onto the ball -- AGAIN. And in a game in which the C's stunk in the first quarter, how come Quis wasn't in until there were 31 seconds left, especially after the good game he had last night?

i disagree....KG is the guy that makes everyone better. he is the difference. without him they have no compass and will like a lot like 2 years ago. IF he is done for the rest of the season...they boston doesn't get out of the east.

Some very nice defense by Bradley on Will Bynum.

Bynum couldn't take him one-on-one ... had to get a screen to help him out.

how could you even begin to even care about the game?? wish i could

no need to get hostile.
