wait...can it really be a repeat of the old injury? wasn't the problem that he had huge bone spurs that were taken out? unless he somehow had more develop in the past year that were gigantic, i don't think it would be a repeat. i think its either something much worse (ligament tear - i hope not) or not as bad (ligament strain, knee sprain) that he should be able to recover from okay.

he had bone spurs...but it will go to my grave believing he torn something in Utah

This from Sherrod Blakely's twitter:

Officially it's a lower right leg injury. KG made it near the locker room on his own, but hobbled the final few steps. Does not look good.

If this night ends with KG ending his career and a loss to the Pistons I am going to be sick for a year.

"Thats whats you get for making fun of cancer patients"

Does he not realize he is doing pretty much the same thing by yelling that out after kg got hurt?

Heck, I'll take 6 weeks, like the JO knee injury.  I just don't want this season to be scuttled.

I knew KG of this year was too good to be true.  :-\

Oh well.

Next thing you know the Spurs will get hit by the injuries and it'll be back to LA / LeBron domination.

Jeez, Charlie Villanueva had Von Wafer on a mismatch ... decides to post him up and then accepts post position 18 feet from the rim on the right wing.

What a terrible decision. Bring Von Wafer's rear end down to the paint and post up 6-10 feet from the basket. Stop forcing yourself into a harder shot.

What a dumb basketball player ... thank goodness we don't have to watch this guy on a daily basis.
