Good to hear from Dickerson that he walked from C's locker room to the Pistons lockers room.  We should hear relatively soon if the x-rays show something -- get the scoop Greg and let it be miraculous news!    :-\

Dern, i hope KG is only a mild sprain or something...calf cramp.....1 or 2 weeks max...PLEEEAAASSSEEE...!!!

Heck, I'll take 6 weeks, like the JO knee injury.  I just don't want this season to be scuttled.

thing is, even if KG comes back after a month or two, the real issue will be if he is back to being hobbled-can't-really-rebound-KG.  a lot of our success so far this year and the rejuvenation of our team has stemmed from KG looking like he did a couple years ago.  if this injury sets KG back to being more like he was last year....hello 4 seed!

best case scenerio will be after the all star break...they won't rush him back...which means they will stop working for home court and settle for surviving wit JO, baby and shaq...

Not right now he shouldn't...needs to develop a shot...ball handling ability...composure...pretty much everything except for defense.

This team can easily weather a short or medium term (2-3 months) injury to KG.

Ya, that is okay too.....this is like last year..in a way. KG is mad because he was so tuned.....when everything is really working, watch out.

so the injury happened before he went up...from the photo, it doesn't necessarily look like he violently twisted in a la ACL/MCL tear fashion. dunno...it is surgically repaired, so it is undoubtedly more sensitive, but this is not a TA "he definitely tore his knee up" thing. he might have, but it is not so clear that that is what happened. hopefully...hopefully...this is a knee sprain that he can recover 100% from this season. please...

C's cant win the championship without home court, its been proven last season. We need the best seed possible. This however may spell our doom even if he comes back, he might still be hobbled and we wont have HCA.

I'm not pessimistic by nature but the "deja vu" around the injury made me know at first sight that it was a big injury.

Hopefully there will be more fear than damage but the results of the X-Rays can't come soon enough...
