Oh, is it my pick?

Yep, you're up.
Cool, I got a little confused there with that missed pick just before.

The Golden State Warriors select Tiago Splitter.

Intriguing to say the least.  Tough for me to vote for a team who has a presumable starter on it that i've never seen play any ball before

Assuming I can pick now, The Dallas Mavericks are pleased to select Trevor Ariza

C:
PF: Duncan
SF: Ariza
SG: S Jackson
PG: A Miller
I would switch Tim Duncan to center and bring in a power forward to play alongside him. Duncan would be very vulnerable defensively at this stage of his career at the four spot.

I love the size, length, quickness and defensive ability of your two wings. Those two are going to create a lot of mayhem on the defensive end of the floor.

Nice pick.  He was on my list of best available.

Cool, The Golden State Warriors select Tiago Splitter.

Interesting.  I'm curious to see if any other GMs were considering him this high.  I get the feeling that he would have slid until the 6th or 7th, but if you're a true believer, I can see why you went for a binky.
There are about 50 picks between now and my next pick. I didn't like the odds of Splitter still being on the table + and I didn't like the alternative options at center by then if he was off the table. Had to take him now. Unfortunately.

And just like that, there has been a trade:

Philly trades: Corey Maggette and 7.27

Boston trades: 5.5 6.9 and 10.9

Request from the Gorillaz to other GM's:

If for whatever reason you're against putting your picks in your signature, if you're going to place a note on the board, or PM me with something like "interested in picking up a 5th rounder" could you then list your picks? Makes life a lot easier.
