I appreciate your opinion because when presenting our teams at the end dealing with questions to your team is an important part.

I understand you're bearish on Beaubois but are you bullish enough on Thornton that keeping him would have made a difference to my overall team or you would have always thought I had questions at the two?

No, I wasn't wild about Thornton, either.
So then you like the trade for me :-) because you didn't like my 2 spot before the trade either.

Well, I like it even less afterwards. Before, you could hedge your bets between Beaubois, Thornton, and Howard. Now Howard is starting, and Daniels is the primary backup at SG.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
We have another trade:

Lakers trade:(celticpride07) Josh Smith 9.21 (Gordon Hayward)
Wolves trade:(evantime24) Jeff Green, Marcus Thornton, Corey Maggette
Thoughts?

I'd love this trade for Minnesota except Howard - who averages 62 games a year over his seven year career - is coming back from ACL surgery and both he and Beaubois will likely miss the start of the season. Then Daniels, their only back-up, constantly struggles with chronic injuries, averages 54 games a year over his seven year career and has played in 74 games exactly once.

I have the same concerns, coupled with the fact that a team with Josh Howard and Josh Smith, two guys who can't seem to grow up, is bad news bears.

Howard also just had a year with his lowest PPG (12.7), lowest FG% (40%), and lowest 3PT % (27%), all 3 since his rookie season. Since he's coming back from injury, hows that going to play out when before the injury he wasn't doing terribly well either?

I believe Rasho went to play in Europe for the year (Olympiakos?).

Does Josh Smith like to smoke the wacky tabbacky too like Josh Howard? If so is that an issue being in Minnesota?

The Nets hope to play Barron as a stretch 4 with Nick Collison playing the 5. The Nets hope his one game explosion vs the C's last year sets the tone for 2011. Amare will be on the bench as Earl Barron explodes! :P

It's funny how Howard is known as a malcontent but before this year you didn't hear much bad about him. He plays hard and that's pretty much what I care about.
As far as Josh Smith growing up, he's only 24. He is growing up. I'm 24 and I'm far from a grown up.
Hayward is probably going to start for a playoff bound Jazz team so I am fine with him starting the year playing big minutes.
As long as Howard and Beaubois are playing well to end the season that's what matters. As the Celtics have shown us you just need to be healthy for the playoffs.
