Yes,I'm a Powe fan,as a Celtic fan I never worried when Powe was in the game,always knew he with Posey would bump the lead up to 20 plus easy,while Baby was on the bench pouting about playing time. Now 2 seasons later you Baby backers are satisfied with close  games, where we just trade baskets with teams. This is about the team, the outcome,results....cry all you want he didn't change the game when he entered game 7. Luck & injury put it on him,not starting four, but the one player who opened his fat lips and guaranteed Celts would be "dancing with the trophy" at nights end. I don't have to be a troll to want a more agile power forward who helps us like Sheed,Powe, did when battling the Dwights, Odoms, and now Bosh!

Now I get it.  You're a Powe fan. ::)

Ummm, Baby's strength is his agility, hence his ability to guard lamar odom.

He is still with the team because he is under contract and the best backup power forward we have.  You want better?  Name another player we could swap him for.  Other than draft picks still under rookie contract, I doubt that there is a more productive big for the money.  He gets mentioned a lot in trade ideas because he is literally the only non-starter chip left on the felt unless you want what the D-leaguers could return.  Would I love for Sheed to be flipped for an impact rebounding 3/4 or 4/5? sure, so would Danny. Would I settle for Sheed being flipped for a serviceable 3 and a serviceable 4/5, of course.

I don't buy fatigue,age,or even a better Lakers team. Game 7 came down to Glen Davis. I don't even buy his "energy"...please,ever ask why the offense is so bad,when he's on the court that he gets offensive rebounds? I don't get how so much attention can go to a player for a game 4 win, while game 7 was about about "the team just didn't have it". His energy produced 6points in the last 3 games. Glen Davis(half court player only) is a liability to good defense, and offense. Player hater,absolutely. Must it take yet another game7 loss for DA & blind Celtic fans who keep backing him to see this?

Game 7 came down to Glen Davis?  Cmon man.  If youre going to lay this at one player's feet its Ray Allen man.  Just saying,  He missed so many open jumpers in Game 7.  BBD is on this team because he is the only player who grabs offensive rebouinds and his defense is actually pretty good.  He draws at least two offensive fouls eacg game.  Watch the games man.

It is rather weird to single out Baby like this. The OP has an axe to grind.

It's all about what I see on the court,even when he's scoring & rebounding,the other four always struggle. I don't like that. The team doesn't gel when he plays. I watch him be late to screen for Ray,get blocked,and I think we just either trade points or lose too many leads. It's never comfortable with him. I wonder why he isn't out there,til he got more minutes and the KG yelling opened as how he would screw the offense completely. It's not his fault,but give me Jason Maxiell,Anthony Tolliver,Josh Boone,or Chris Hunter even.

None of those guys can hold a torch to Davis as a basketball player. It's fairly obvious you only hate him because in the great Powe/Davis debate the team decided that Davis was better off here and that Powe wasn't going to be overpaid to sit and rehab all last year.

Powe's knees are shredded.  Powe wont even be in the NBA in the very near future.  BBD will have a servicable 10 year NBA career.

Have I not give my reasons clearly that I don't like what he does to this team? Where are you getting hate from? Sometimes I think he's the hardest working player on the floor,results just aren't good enough. I don't like his game,him, or his so called potential for this team, starter or backup.  He reminds me of pre KG players, he just isn't a championship caliber teammate. He is no different then the guys who left here for Minnesota. He too fancy, not enough dirty work. Forget Powe,don't even  know what he can offer us now. I gave you my list of better/simple players. I simply feel we could do better,ya'll just settled for his mediocrity. In Two seasons,you can't even point to his stats to defend him.

  I don't hate (or love) Davis, but I think he does his fair share of dirty work. Takes charges, dives for loose balls, mixes it up inside.  I wouldn't want him for a starter but he's fine as a sub.

Davis was a standout bench player for a team who was 6 min from a championship.
