This might just be me but I think this week's 30 for 30 about SMU is kind of oddly timed right as a pay for play kid wins the Heisman

I have no idea why I find this so funny, but I absolutely do.

Basically the Air Force falcon flew away for almost the entire game today at the Independence Bowl

I also find this funny in a sad, but think of what could have happened kind of way.  I mean just try to imagine turing on Sportscenter to hear "Dayne Crist and Nick Montana are in a Mexican prison and aren't due to have their case heard for a year unless Notre Dame pays $50,000 to the local government"

I mean cmon. That is top notch stuff.

YESSSS!!!  BC gets the number 9 ranked prospect in the country. Albert Louis-Jean out of Brockton.  This is huge for BC as he decommited from Miami after the coaching changed.  Nice to see us not only keep the talent from the northeast, but also get a real playmaker that can hold down the secondary for the next 4 years.

Saw him play live. He's over rated as a defensive back. Kid from Everett, Manny Asprilla, who's also going to BC to play in the defensive secondary is a better cover corner.

Of course, I might be a little prejudiced about that but in the two games I saw of Louis-Jean, he wasn't unbelievably impressive.

Well thanks for tempering my expectations haha, Im excited for Asprilla too.  From what I understand Louis-Jean is a two year all scholastic all star so he should fit in at BC.  He also is a freak of an athlete, so if we can coach him up at safety I think he should be productive

Couple years from now the Eagles could have an all Massachusetts defensive backfield and a [dang] good one too in Asprilla, Louis-Jean, current safety from Everett Jim Noel([dang] good player) and Tim Fox's kid from Hull, and current starting CB, Chris Fox(another heck of a player).

Read BC is going hard after Nick LaSpada from Billerica. He's a heck of a QB and a great double threat with his running and passing ability. Of course, Everett's John Dibiaso should be given a look as well. His 43 TD and 4 interception year was no accident. He just has a very Tim Tebow like delivery which hurts him with recruiters

I think Fox graduated this year if im not mistaken.  However I am loving Jim Noel.  Kid does nothing but make plays back there against both the pass and run.  I think next year when he is starting he will be getting some all ACC looks at the end of the season.

With Linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis and now safety Albert Louis-Jean we have the french connection on defense.  Let's just hope they don't surrender

Also, I love how the ESPN ACC football writer Heather Dinnich has yet to report on it.  The Anti-BC Bias in the ACC media is amazing.

Not like 4 star recruit moving from one ACC school to Another is something the ACC Football writer would want to report on... ::)

Miami is learning the natural consequences of firing a winning coach right about now.

TCU is proving yet again that the "mid-majors" belong right there with the big boys (like, um, UConn).

But will it help precipitate any positive changes? Here's hoping so. Great game, and I'm psyched TCU won.

Doubtful, especially with Utah moving to the Pac-10 and TCU going to the Big East.  Boise St. will continue to get screwed, but most of the other contenders have aligned with big conferences.

I can't understand why we can't at least get a "Plus-1" game.  It would only add one game to the schedule, and would allow all of the bowls to retain their identities.
