The more and more I read, it looks like that Boise State will end up jumping TCU in the BCS standings either next week or almost certainly after the WAC Championship. TCU's downfall may ultimately lie in the fact that their conference doesn't have a championship game (last week didn't help either).
I still think Auburn loses in Tuscaloosa on the 26th (Karma bites Newton in the butt?) and we'll end up seeing one of the non-BCS teams in the National Championship game. Oregon still has a tough one ahead against Arizona but its in Eugene. I don't see them losing the Civil War this year since the Beavers are pretty awful although the game is in Corvallis which may make things a bit interesting.
If Auburn or Oregon lose, I have no problem seeing Boise State or TCU in the championship game. However if all 4 run the table, Oregon & Auburn get the nod in the national title game. Complaining about a "weak" Pac-10 or SEC in favor of a Boise State squad that plays the likes of Utah State, Idaho, Louisiana Tech, New Mexico State, and San Jose State is ridiculous, IMO.
