I have seen a couple of posters comparing the Pierce/Ray/KG press conference to what we just saw in Miami with Wade/Bosh/LBJ:
First, I must have missed the fireworks and the big event they held at the Garden when KG and Ray were acquired.
Second, the situations are completely different. The Celtics traded for both Ray and KG and they did not happen simultaneously.
As for being tired of the backlash, I hope it continues forever. Pat Riley did a great job of clearing cap space, but he has always been a west coast, faker and a fraud in my opinion.
As for Lebron - Tool is the only word that comes to mind.
As for taking less money, that is correct. However, being in Miami, with no state tax, Lebron will make almost as much as if he took the max salary from a team in a city with a state tax, and Bosh will make more given that he was in high-tax Canada.
Again, Riley did a great job clearing the space, but this whole deal continues to stink to high heaven.
