To be fair he was making fun of Miami as well.

I am not sick of the backlash. They have 4 players are said to be the next champions. They deserve any backlash. They are arrogant.

Dan LeBatard is a reporter for the Miami Herald so maybe it's from Miami radio, but it still doesn't take away from the fact that reporters are suppose to be unbiased and not fans of the teams they report on and he is totally doing the opposite.

I kinda like LeBatard's personality (half the sports he discusses on PTI he doesn't know enough about....much like Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd).

What do you expect him to do, be sad about it? His career just went up a rung.

As for being sick of Miami, I don't really care about what they did, but how they did.

From the twitter updates from Bosh, to LeBron's bogus hour special, to that absurd WWE-looking welcome party.

Wade seems to be the only one who wasn't exploiting the situation. But for all we know, he may have been the biggest conspirator of the group.

Players can play wherever they want, with whomever they want, for however much they want. I won't begrudge anyone over their career choices. The only thing about LBJ I will say is that he strung Cleveland along. Come out and say "I tried my hardest here for 7 years, and ultimately it was a failure. I am not certain this team has room to get any better." Instead, he strung everyone along. It's like popping the question to a girl, only to find out she's been sleeping with another guy all along and wants to marry him.

They are all unlikable right now. The stars, the fans, the city...

Every local reporter is a fan of the team he or she covers.

The bias thing is so overplayed.

Nah that is true, but you'd think he'd show it a little bit more.

I know I am.

Three really good players decided they want to play together.  I have no issue with that.

The way one of them went about it and the circus that has followed was awful.

But now, it is just getting annoying listening to everyone (radio, TV, newspapers, and blogs) complaining about it.
I think the backlash against the Lebron decision program is warranted.

I'm not into the bitter jealousies of sports. Miami did a good job managing the cap. Riley did a good job ignoring Wade's pleas to make panic moves to set up this offseason.

No they deserve all the backlash they get.  Especially if they really did tamper.

Ditto.
IMO, this has been in play for 2 years. The whole dog & pony show of Free Agency was just that - a show.

They deserve it, all these guys have no class.  I used to have respect for LBJ, but no more.

During his stupid little "Decision" special on ESPN, LBJ said that he didn't make up his mind until that morning.  Everybody knows that's a straight up lie.  Obviously this was planned well in advance.  LBJ is a shameless self-promoter, in a way that can be sort of funny/stupid and therefore endearing and forgivable in a lesser talent, like with Chad Ochocinco's antics, but in a guy who is supposed to be up there with Jordan and the other all-time greats, it's unseemly.  Mohammed Ali was the only other other athlete I can think of who dominated his sport and who would tell everyone how great he was, but even with Ali, there was something tongue in cheek about it, so it was funny and never unclassy.  There is nothing classy about LBJ, if anything it's sort of pathetic.  I might feel differently about this 10 years down the road, when a younger generation of athletes has sunk to even lower depths that we can't even imagine yet, but for now, nope.  No respect for LeBron.

Yeah, uhh, not at all. I hope it never stops.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I've become a fan of Dan LeBetard... I'm totally on board for the Miami Heat era of the NBA.  The more and more I hear the backlash, the more and more I think Dan Gilbert is a loser and LeBron made a wise decision.

If we rewind back to when Allen and KG came to Boston then you can see the same thing but only now it isnt us. However, I cannot state it often enough, I hope Lebron James wont win a single ring in his career! His NBA career is more in connection with a movie star not a sports figure.I dont doubt his talents but everything about him is nonsense.

LeBatard is so annoying and unfunny whenever he's on PTI, I hate him so much on that show.

Nope I'm quite fine with it.  It's been what a whole 5 days and you feel sorry for them already?  How about feeling sorry for our C's and the fact that like some have ranted they are struggling to get any talent to come to Boston... (rondo 3 HOFs) and we just lost Tony Allen (great talent, high BBIQ) and Sheed retired (everyone complained about him all year now he's a big loss).  I think Boston has better use for your sympathy...
