T-Mac and Hill in Orlando, T-Mac and Hill in Orlando, T-Mac and Hill in Orlando.

And yes I am wishing career-ending (or nearly so) injuries on the three of them.

That's just evil. I hope they win, but not at the expense of the Celtics.

I think people are really kidding themselves thinking the Heat won't have a good enough supporting cast. You're all in denial thinking that. Sorry. They will build a great team. They will mesh perfectly. As much of egomaniacs Lebron and Wade are(WADE LOVES wearing his name on his face.lol)Lebron is a very unselfish player on the court. He makes other people better more than any other player in the Nba.

Has he made Mo Williams better? Jamison? Moon? Parker? Anyone?

He made Mo Williams an all-star.

He did a lot to make that CLE team better.

Unless you're impressed with their roster without LBJ.

Williams didn't put up better stats. He didn't become a better player. He just got noticed more. Carrying a team and making other people better are two different things. He does one, not the other. And he'll do less of the one with Wade on the team.

What's your definition of making a player better?

LeBron is a looser to teamup with TWO all-stars...

I'm going to disagree.  I think Lebron saw the way Pierce, KG, and Ray came together late in their careers, and decided that he wanted to enjoy that experience for a longer period of time.

I think that this does take some of the shine off of Lebron's star, but I can't really fault him for taking a perceived short cut to a championship.
There's a difference. For our big 3 it was possibly the last real chance for a ring after a long struggle to make it as primary alpha dogs. Lebron just quit trying to do what MJ did - building the franchise from the bottom, overtake the obstacles and write your own legacy. He chose the easy way and now the history will look at him differently. He lost my respect if it counts for anything.

Bill Simmons wrote that Wade, Bosh and Lebron decided to team up while playing for US team in the olympics. And now his decision from almost a year ago not to wear anymore the number 23 make sense - Miami also retired the 23 number in MJ's honor.
The Immortals:

Iker Casillas, Giacinto Facchetti, Alessandro Nesta, Matthias Sammer, Javier Zanetti, Lothar Matthäus (c), Xavi, Zico, Maradona, Roberto Baggio, Ferenc Puskas, Karl Heinz Rummenigge

I completely agree that wishing injury on someone is just evil and I hope they especially against the Lakers, but of course not at the expense of the Celtics.

I'm pretty flexible. If LeBron makes other people better more than any other player in the Nba, then there should be some evidence that they're better when they play with him than they were before they joined the Cavs.

See the way the heat team is now built... Wade and Lebron are both best as slashers. I don't see how that works. Ray was basically a spot up 3point shooter for us most of the time cause we didn't have enough possessions for him to really create for himself. Kobe is a shooter for LA... Plus Eric is a terrible coach. That team has superstars but may have some serious problems in the playoffs. Who is going to be their clutch 3 point shooter?

Become Legendary.

Genocide in Darfur is evil.  Wishing that multi-millionaires get injuries that are set for life and will earn their money regardless of health so that our multi-millionaires can win really isn't that bad.

And to further add to this, I didn't totally mean what I said (but I partly did, though I had a few drinks before posting).  However, as we learned with KG and Orlando learned with Hill and McGrady, injuries can derail anyone.  We learned that in the '80s ourselves with Larry and Kevin and the deaths of Len and Reggie.  So I don't think anyone should be sizing rings yet.

I hate how LeBron is going to a team with all band wagon fans!  But they can knock off the Lakers so I'm happy about that.

This is still Wades team.  If I'm coaching crunch time that's where I want the ball.  Definitely not Bosh, and Bron's not a bad second choice.

That's what I'm saying. At the end of the day, if Celtics can't win it, someone else needs to destroy the fakers.

Yes, we're going to win.  We're going to beat the Lakers and Heat, but as long as anyone beats the Lakers and makes it so they won't get more titles than us I'll be happy.

Broussard is absolutely delusional and throughout this whole pathetic Lebron hype fest, he's been exploited as a fraud. This team is NOT comparable to the 2008 Celtics. He was saying how Perkins was a nobody and that no one knew how well Rondo was going to run the point. First of all, Rondo had all of the potential in the world and has been a pass first player his whole career (high school through the present). Second of all, Perkins was an established defensive presence and solid big man in the post before the big two came along. Lastly, this Miami team is AWFUL aside from their big three. Mario Chalmers cannot be compared to Rondo. That's laughable. They're going to have a lot of trouble if they don't add some good role players.

Exactly! It takes more than 3 players to win!
