I watch alot of Big East Basketball, and no doubt Gody is a great player. He can score and rebound with the best of them in college. However, i dont think he has the size or athletecism to perfrom in the NBA. You gotta wait and see thought. I would have rather taken Stanley Robinson

Harangody used to get absolutely torched by Tyler Hansborough in one on one match ups in college ball.

Take that for what it's worth.

I wonder what the Celtics team is thinking right now? KG Rondo PP RAY AND PERK are scratching their heads over this 52nd pick. 6'7 is not going to stop Bynum or Gasol DANNY!!!!

you don't draft for need, you draft the best player available, even if he's white, that doesn't mean he's Scal

Alabi also just got traded for cash and a future 2nd. It looks like Danny could have easily had him if he wanted him. I trust Ainge, I think Harangody will work out.

Wrong. Here's a box score that refutes your claim.

Watching his highlights and hearing what they had to say...

strikes me as a player to be groomed as BBD's replacement. Baby will probably command the MLE in a year or two. Harangody seems like basically the same player, except with worse feet and apparently superior defensive rebounding capabilities.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I doubt they are paying attention.  The 52 pick has no more chance to make this team than the guys they signed at the end of the year or Erden.

I joke that he's got the goofy Scal look going.... but he looks physically better in all ways.

I'm looking forward to seeing/hearing what these 2 young dudes can do over the summer.
