He'll be a good player and one that will play a role for us, but it's not what we really needed.  I understand a good big man wasn't available but we need a guard that can shoot off the dribble while Pierce is out of the game...that is the opposite of what Avery does

I'd rather keep Nate for our backup PG

Welcome Avery I dont know how you will fit but I'm sure you will make a contribution. I mean alot of Celtic fans thought Danny was crazy for trading for Rajon and now look. Good luck and good wishes man.

I would think he'd get way more minutes at the 2 guard.

He'll be fine at the 2, and his alleged inability to shoot is a wild misconception. He's fine with the catch and shoot.

Love his defense, and I'll take that over James Anderson all day. Do not like Anderson's one dimensional game at all.

Who thought that?

Also, where is him making an outside shot on that highlight film?? I think he made one, and it wasn't even a 3. That concerns me.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Welcome Avery. Kid looks really fast and has great wingspan. Thats what we want to see running with Rondo - more speed, length and shooting.

Here's to hoping for the best.  :)

Rondo was not a popular guy on here when he was drafted.  A huge contingent preferred Marcus Williams.

Rondo is one of several reasons I'm glad Danny doesn't ask us what we think.

I'll take him.

I doubt he'll be missing any dunks anytime soon.

Also he looks like he'll bring some energy and some much needed scoring in the paint area.

Bradley slides down to No. 19 after a disappointing year at Texas; he is, perhaps, 2010's prospect most hurt by the age minimum. Out of high school, he might have been top five.

Welcome Avery...  Hope you're moved for cash considerations shortly.
