I love Ray as a person, community man and father however as a Celtic he has been entirely inconsistent. As the #1 shooting guard you can't score 36 points (7/8) from three in one game and then shoot less than 30% the rest of the series. The only consistent thing about his game is him being inconsistent. We've seen over his entire playoff run with us. Yes, he single handedly one a few games for us but overall if you could pencil in a solid 15-25 point night every game our run would have been a lot easier.
His defense last night was exceptional, he was tighter on Kobe than Artest was on Pierce, he made one bone head foul on Kobe shooting the three but that was probably due to fatigue. I truly felt Doc should have allowed TA to play a little more to allow RA to get his legs under him for the finish.
Again, he's the ideal Celtic character, but he doesn't play with the heart, fire and consistency that we need to stay on a Championship level, especially since they'll all be a year older.
I don't know who will be available but I would surely look to replace him at the 2.
