Watcha think, guys. Was that their best shot?
No, but the Cavs look in bad shape (in large part due to Mike Brown) so they may not be capable of that much more than they've shown already tonight.

What do you mean by "bad shape?"
Their lineup choices. Rotation.

A lack of players playing well outside of Mo, Varejao and LeBron ... and LeBron is struggling with his scoring.

If Brown sticks to Shaq on KG, I would run send Ray per and Pierce to the left side of the court and run a high post or low post pick and roll with Rondo and KG on the right side of the court every single time down the court.

EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!

i feel like boston hasnt played well and i feel the cavs are playing about to their top

I think Mo Williams is playing to his max potential, but Lebron has been pretty mediocre.  I think he could easily reel off a 20 point quarter.

The Celts definitely need to play better on both ends.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
If I have to listen to more of the LeBron sideshow stuff I'd like for Booyah to come rip my cable out...

I don't think either team has really played all that well. That was a pretty ugly first half.

If Pierce and Allen show up in the second half the C's will win by double digits. If not it's probably going down to the wire.

I'll take a re-run of Tuesdays second half.  Or even something almost as good.

Wait...Pierce is actually in the building?  Oh  3 fouls?  What a surprise   let the guy keep playing   he just sat for a whole half   no wonder the guy cant heat up

Honestly though, I think we did well (for what I saw) on D regarding LeBron. His "not being in the game" is in large part due to us sagging off Mo.

I don't have to explain what I think that means for Mo, do I ;)

Mo Williams is pulling a Rondo and hurting us in the open court.

We gotta cut down on the turnovers.

Too much Rasheed. Not enough Shelden.

Gotta get back to that Ray Allen/KG pick and roll. When Shaq is in the game, TAKE ADVANTAGE! He's absolutely terrible.

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
This is it, it all comes down to these 2 quarters. The Celtics can not go back to Cleveland, this is the season right here. It's not going to be easy, the refs are going to make this real hard for the Celtics, but it can be done. It's time... I believe!!!

Well the easy and plain analysis is this:  Anybody's game.

24 minutes to dispose.  Step it up.  Ray-Ray light it up. Rondo!! Pierce!! Perk!!! Kevin!!!!! ... GO!!

Up 2

9 TOs, 0-7 from 3, Pierce and Ray Allen 3-10, plenty of missed bunnies and 3 players with 3 fouls (PP, RW, RR). Pierce has 3 fouls and played 9 minutes. Bench except for TA has not played well.

James 4-12 and going to the basket because it looks like his jumper is off. Mo Williams outplaying Rondo, West has played poorly. Cavs +3 TRB, but 13 TOs.

Very sloppy game. We started well and Rondo lost focus IMO.

C's need Pierce to come alive, but how can he get going if he's saddled with foul trouble?
