Perkins for Turiaf + this year 1st + next year second

For GS: They take a true center (also expiring)

For Boston: Their choise will be at worst the forth, so we can choose one among Aldrich, Favors or Cousins, for the future but also to be an immediatly great bench addiction.  Next year we can start with BBD or sign a player like Gooden with the MLE; then with the 19th we can choose an athletic SG/SF with long range shoot, depending on who is avaible (Xavier Henry if he falls). Then resign Ray,Tony (he is playng great defense against Lebron!!), S.Williams and even Nate Robinson (if he doesn't ask too much)to complete the roster.
Thoughts?
P.S. GO CELTICS!!!!!! (i'm writing in the middle of the night just after game 5)

Makes no sense for Golden State, they're not trying to win now and the ceiling of a player taken at worst at 7th. (they're fourth in the standings so they could slide a full three spots to 7th)

These Perk trade proposals are like playing whack-a-mole.

Here it is:  do not trade Perk.  Not for Turiaf, not for a pick.

The C's have invested years of coaching into a very large guy that has a pretty rare work ethic.  Straight up, to me it's like calling for Robert Parrish to be traded in 1987 -- should not happen.

I can see that! Which begs the question why are you trying to deal our starting center, Celtic for life, Kendrick Perkins, minutes after a 30 point Game 5 victory against a heavily favored Cavs team?

Was there a trade Rondo thread after Game 4's triple double and I missed it?

Kendrick Perkins can hold down superstar Centers BY HIM SELF. We don't have to double down and give up open looks, that is so huge in the playoffs.

KP may frustrate you sometimes with TO's and silly up-fakes, but in the playoffs he always comes correct.

Long live the beast.

Not going to happen.

GS has a true C.

They just don't use true C very much in Nellie ball.

Unbelievable.  Trade ideas after the 2nd best game in KG era.

I'll keep Perk anyway.

Yes, also we have to keep in mind the matchups, and while KP hasn't come up big in the playoffs yet, if the Cs end up advancing and playing Orlando (fingers crossed), I think we'll see where KP's real value is -- keeping D. Howard away from the basket.
Celtics fan for life.

If anything, we should be speculating about who is the best possible free agent available for the MLE.  Even the Celtics don't take the title, the window is clearly still open.

They already have a pretty solid Center under contract. Plus, is there any player more injury prone in the league than Turiaf?

GS have Biedrins why would they trade for Perk? i like this trade yes but there is no way that GS wil do it nooo way.

I like Perk a lot but if we want to trade him now is the moment. Next season he will ask for a lot of money and Danny will probabli give him 40mil/5years at least. So now is our only chance to get a top 5 pick for Perk when his salary is 4mil. It depends id Danny likes someone especialy on this draft. If he does then maybe he will do this otherwise Perk is staying and next season re-signing for a lot of money

I think that basically you got the point in my post: i also love Perk or what he does well (defense, rebounding), but there are many things that he doesn't do well, especialy on offense. I think Boston will have to do something this summer to rejuvenate  the team even if we will end with the title this year (GO CELTS!!), and Rondo ad Perkins are the only two tradable  players in the team if we want to take an high draft choise: for me Perkins is the one of the two who don't deserve a lot of money, because when the big three will not be so big, he will not be so useful like now. I think that in this draft there are players that we can use right now and that potentially could become a lot better than him.
