This brings me back to the part where we talked last year about whether a woman could play in the nba.
After looking at Sheed I'd have to say heck yes. I'd also consider a blind guy and a guy from the wheelchair league. I'm pretty sure they'd at least try harder.
I'm not going to say he's the reason we lost, but when you look at the stats he played the worst of all the players yet again. That makes him the single biggest reason we lost, right?
No - I'd say that Pierces' 5-17 night didn't help.
Pierce won't shoot that bad on Tomorrow night, I know this much.
Sure - Sheed didn't help much last night. Hasn't helped much this post-season. It is certainly getting to crunch time for him. He was made out to be our Primary Man off the bench, our 6th man of the Year.
Well, I'm not blind to the fact that this isn't happening. It could happen tomorrow night?
Then you will see several threads on here about how great it was to sign Sheed.
But anyway..once this season is over, whether in June or next week, we will sooner or later find out what is going on with Sheed.
I know that there is something else going on behind the scenes with Rasheed, and we won't know what is going on until after this is all over. The Celtics Organization is pretty good at keeping bad stuff out of the media. We won't know the gory details (if there are any) until this is over.
Until then - I am withholding my judgement on Sheed. The blessing here is that with KG starting to play at 2008-ish levels I absolutely Love Our Opportunity - even after last night.
Worst case scenario is Glen and Shelden absorb Sheed's minutes. But KG gives me hope, regardless of what is going on with Sheed.
