I think Thibs is one of those rare cases where he makes a great assistant, but not a great head coach ... when Doc was ejected and Thibs had to fill in, he looked completely lost and out of his element. I think he's a fantastic defensive advisor, but not the whole package and temperament needed for the lead job. There are many great talents that would love the job ... and I still think Doug Collins is capable, and one of the best basketball minds around, (despite chatter to the contrary).

I completely despise the guy, and he has made no secret of the fact that he despises the Celtics, Boston, and anything attached. I usually agree with you, Misha, but this is the LAST guy I want in Boston!

I remember the year he (Zeke) was the coach for the All-Star East team, and both Pierce and Walker got to go ... he sat both of them on the bench almost the entire game ... I think they ended up playing like 4 to 7 minutes in the overtime period ... it was such an insult!
